Packers' Brandon McManus: Suiting up Sunday
McManus (right quadriceps) is listed as active Sunday against the Panthers, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
McManus managed a pair of full practices during Week 9 prep for the first time since he tweaked his right quad coming out of the Packers' Week 5 bye, but the team still listed him as questionable for Sunday's contest. Now that his status has been confirmed, he'll look to build upon the nine field goals (on 13 attempts) and 14 extra points (on 15 tries) that he's netted in five appearances this season, while Lucas Havrisik (coach's decision) again will be inactive.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Questionable for Week 9
McManus (right quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Panthers, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
After opening Week 9 prep with a limited practice Wednesday, McManus ended it with back-to-back full sessions, but the Packers will wait to make a decision on who will kick Sunday until about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. McManus returned from a two-game absence due to a right quad injury this past Sunday in Pittsburgh, but the results were uneven (2-for-4 FGAs, 3-for-3 PATs). Green Bay continues to carry two placekickers on the active roster (also, Lucas Havrisik), so whoever isn't on the inactive list between the two Sunday morning will be kicking in the afternoon.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Gets back to full Thursday
McManus (right quadriceps) practiced fully Thursday.
This marks McManus' first uncapped practice since he tweaked his right quad during the first practice of Week 6 prep. After missing two games due to the injury, he returned this past Sunday at Pittsburgh and connected on two of four field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries. The Packers now have two healthy placekickers on the active roster in McManus and Lucas Havrisik, but with McManus in the clear, he'll operate as the team's top option Sunday against the Panthers.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Limited Wednesday
McManus (right quadriceps) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
McManus was cleared to kick this past Sunday in Pittsburgh for the first time since Week 4, but the results were tepid, as he missed his first two field-goal attempts from 57 and 44 yards. He made amends in the second half by connecting on both point-after tries and then a pair of much shorter FGAs (28 and 25 yards). The Packers continue to keep Lucas Havrisik on the active roster, but it appears McManus will handle placekicking duties on game days as long as the training staff clears him to do so.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Uneven performance in win
McManus went 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his PATs in Sunday night's 35-25 win over the Steelers.
McManus made his return to action after missing two games with a right quadriceps injury. The kicker appeared to be a little rusty in the first half, leaving a 57-yard field-goal attempt short before missing a 44-yarder wide left as time expired in the second quarter. McManus was able to rebound after the break, connecting on field goals from 28 and 25 yards in the fourth quarter. On the year, he's now gone 9-for-13 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while also making 14 of 15 extra-point attempts over five contests.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Retaining placekicking duties
McManus (right quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
McManus thus is putting an end to a two-game absence due to the right quad that he tweaked during Week 6 prep. He's slated to handle his usual placekicking duties Week 8 while his fill-in Lucas Havrisik is a healthy scratch. In four appearances this season, McManus has connected on seven of nine field-goal attempts and 11 of 12 point-after tries.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Listed as questionable again
McManus (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game at Pittsburgh.
After missing the past two games, McManus returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant. He said afterward that he was pleased with both his leg strength and accuracy, but there's still some doubt about his Sunday availability after he failed to upgrade to full practice participation Friday.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Returns to limited practice
McManus (right quadriceps) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
During the open portion of Thursday's session, McManus was suited up to kick, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, which clearly came to pass. Afterward, McManus told Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, "I was happy with where my leg was at and the pain with it. The power was there and the accuracy, so it was a positive day." This marks McManus' first official on-field work since Week 6 prep, when he initially tweaked his right quad, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to put an end to a two-game absence Sunday in Pittsburgh. Lucas Havrisik is on hand for placekicking duties in the event McManus requires more time to recover.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Still not practicing
McManus (right quadriceps) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
McManus thus has been a DNP on four consecutive injury reports due to the right quad that he tweaked in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Until he logs at least a limited practice again, he appears to be in danger of missing a third straight contest Sunday at Pittsburgh. Considering how well fill-in kicker Lucas Havrisik has fared in place of McManus -- 4-for-4 on FGAs, 6-for-6 on PATs -- the Packers have the luxury of patience as it pertains to McManus' recovery.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Inactive again
McManus (right quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's game in Arizona, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
McManus thus will miss his second contest in a row due to the right quadriceps that he tweaked at the beginning of Week 6 prep. In McManus' stead, Lucas Havrisik will fill again after striking true on both field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries during last Sunday's win against the Bengals. McManus' next opportunity for game action is next Sunday's road matchup with the Steelers.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Questionable for Week 7
McManus (right quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
McManus didn't practice this week due to the right quad that he tweaked during last Wednesday's session and sidelined him this past Sunday against the Bengals, but Green Bay is keeping the door ajar for the 34-year-old to be available this weekend. Regarding that, McManus said Thursday, "Am I feeling better? Yes. And it's kind of a similar process of what we're game planning to try to get up to." The Packers have a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, and if McManus is included among the team's inactives about 90 minutes prior, Lucas Havrisik will handle placekicking duties for a second consecutive contest.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Still not practicing
McManus (right quadriceps) was a non-participant at practice Thursday.
McManus already has missed one game due to the right quad that he pulled in practice last Wednesday, but coach Matt LaFleur told Ryan Wood of USA Today on Thursday that he's "day-to-day" and may "potentially" be able to kick on game day without practicing. McManus has one more chance to do so this week before Friday's injury report could include a ruling on his status for Sunday's contest in Arizona. Lucas Havrisik is available in the event McManus isn't able to go this weekend.

Packers' Brandon McManus: DNP on Wednesday
McManus (right quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday.
Instead, McManus was in sweats and sneakers, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, while fill-in placekicker Lucas Havrisik handled those duties to begin Week 7 prep. It's unclear if McManus is trending toward another absence Sunday at Arizona as he tends to the right quad injury that he sustained in last Wednesday's practice, but if he's inactive, Havrisik is decent insurance after connecting on both field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries during the Packers' Week 6 win against the Bengals.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Inactive in Week 6
McManus (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
McManus tweaked his right quadriceps at Wednesday's practice and went down as a limited participant on all three of the Packers' Week 6 injury reports. The Packers held tryouts for kickers Greg Joseph and Lucas Havrisik on Thursday, and the team signed the latter to the active roster Saturday as insurance in the event McManus couldn't go this weekend. Now that McManus has been confirmed to be unavailable, he'll hand off placekicking duties to Havrisik for at least one contest.
