Packers' Brandon McManus: Perfect in preseason opener
McMamus made a 46-yard field goal and the lone extra point he attempted in Saturday's 30-10 exhibition loss to the Jets.
The Packers gave McManus only a couple chances to score, but he converted both opportunities. Although two other kickers are part of Green Bay's training camp roster, McManus shined last season and signed a three-year extension with the Packers in March, so he is locked in as the team's placekicker.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Gets three-year extension
McManus and the Packers agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $15.3 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
McManus joined Green Bay midseason in 2024, ultimately converting 20 of 21 field-goal attempts and all 30 extra-point tries across 11 regular-season appearances with the team. He also converted one of two field-goal tries and his only PAT during the Packers' wild-card round loss to Philadelphia. McManus' tenure as the starter on a high-scoring offense will keep him in the mix as a relevant fantasy option at the kicker position for the 2025 campaign.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Caps off quality campaign
McManus made three field goals and his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Bears.
McManus made field goals of 37 and 30 yards in the first half, and his 55-yard field goal with under a minute to go in the contest would have proved pivotal had the Bears not hit a field goal of their own at the final buzzer. McManus ends the regular season having made all 30 extra-point tries and all but one of his 21 field-goal attempts over his 11 appearances since joining the Packers in mid-October.

Packers' Brandon McManus: Limited to five points
McManus made a 22-yard field goal and two extra points in Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Vikings.
McManus made all his attempts for the seventh time in as many weeks, but the five points he finished with were the second fewest since that streak began. He and the Packers will close out the regular season against a Bears team that limited him to a season-low two points when the clubs last met in Week 11.

McManus rewarded those who included him in Week 16 fantasy lineups -- particularly those in leagues that reward field-goal distance, as he hit kicks from both 46 and 55 yards out. McManus and the Packers will next face a Vikings team that put the clamps on opposing kickers early on but ceded 14 made field goals on 17 attempts over its last six contests.

Green Bay's offense slowed some after scoring touchdowns on its first two drives, but they remained effective enough to give McManus three field-goal attempts for the second time in three weeks and the fourth time in his eight games with the team. McManus and the Packers will next face a Saints team that ranks middle-of-the-pack against opposing kickers both over the last four weeks and over the course of the campaign.
