Giants' Landon Collins: Makes impact with pick-six
Collins made four tackles (one solo) and returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown in the Giants' Week 17 win over Indianapolis.
New York led 14-3 in the second quarter when Collins picked off Nick Foles and darted 52 yards down the sideline for his second career touchdown. The veteran's previous pick-six came in his second year as a pro back in 2016 during his first stint with the Giants. Though his role isn't as large now as it was back then, Collins has shown that he still has some gas left in the tank, totaling eight tackles -- including one sack -- and Sunday's big INT-TD over the past two weeks.

Giants' Landon Collins: Signed to active roster
The Giants are signing Collins to the 53-man roster Thursday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Collins had already been promoted to the active roster three times, so he had to be signed in order to see action with New York again this season. He played 47 percent of defensive snaps Week 15 and could be in line for another notable workload Saturday in Minnesota.

Collins was elevated to the active roster for a second straight game, but after seeing 21 defensive snaps in Week 7, the veteran safety saw just seven snaps in Week 8. The 2015 second-round pick is now eligible for only one more elevation before he'll need to be signed to the active roster.

Collins gets the bump to the active roster for a second straight week. The veteran safety recorded one tackle across 21 defensive snaps during the team's Week 7 win over Jacksonville and figures to see a similar role in Week 8.

Collins was activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars for the first time since joining the Giants' practice squad ahead of Week 4. The 28-year-old logged one tackle while playing 23 defensive snaps alongside Dane Belton, as the two operated as New York's backup safeties behind Julian Love and Xavier McKinney in Week 7. Collins could continue to help fill in if Jason Pinnock (ankle) remains sidelined against the Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 30.

Giants' Landon Collins: Officially promoted

Collins signed with the Giants' practice squad Oct. 6 and will likely be set for his season debut. Stapleton further detailed Collins' role, which is expected to be in a hybrid linebacker/safety role in the box.
