  • Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: Off practice squad/COVID-19 list

Clinton-Dix was restored to the Raiders' practice squad from the unit's reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

Clinton-Dix joined the Raiders on Sept. 13 after being cut by San Francisco during training camp. Other than a couple of special-teams snaps in Week 3 against Miami, Clinton-Dix hasn't seen any game action this season. He'll continue to serve as organizational depth while awaiting a potential promotion.

Clinton-Dix was placed the Raiders' practice squad COVID-19 list Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

  • Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: Lands with Raiders' practice squad

Clinton-Dix signed with the Raiders' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.

Clinton-Dix was let go by San Francisco at the beginning of September, but he'll find a spot with the Raiders' practice squad less than two weeks later. The 28-year-old didn't appear in any games last year after he failed to make the Cowboys' 53-man roster.

  • Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: Released by San Fran

The 49ers cut Clinton-Dix on Tuesday.

After spending five years in Green Bay, Clinton-Dix has bounced between Washington, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco. The 2014 first-round pick didn't play a snap during the 2020 campaign after failing to make the Cowboys' initial roster. His career may be coming to a close if he is unable to get a deal somewhere this season.

  • 49ers' Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: Gets chance in San Francisco

The 49ers are signing Clinton-Dix to a contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Clinton-Dix spent time with the Cowboys last offseason, but he hasn't appeared in regular-season action since playing 16 games for the Bears in 2019. The 28-year-old will bring depth to a safety room that currently has Jaquiski Tartt (toe) and Tony Jefferson (hamstring) nursing injuries, and Tarvarius Moore (Achilles) out for the year.

  • Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: Done in Dallas

The Cowboys released Clinton-Dix on Thursday, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.

Clinton-Dix being released frees up $1.5 million in cap space for the Cowboys. The transaction comes as something of a surprise, considering that the team saw fit to ink Clinton-Dix to a one-year deal back in March, a move which reunited him with coach Mike McCarthy. The decision to now part ways with Clinton-Dix could be an indication that the Cowboys are confident in the health of Xavier Woods (groin).
