Lions' Allen Robinson: Marginal impact in 2024
Robinson finished the 2024 regular season having caught three of seven targets for 30 yards over 12 games.
Robinson signed a one-year deal with Detroit in late September, and he operated as a depth option behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams at wide receiver in 2024. The 31-year-old never saw more than two targets in a game, and the most offensive snaps he played on the year came in Week 8 against the Titans when he logged 21. The wide receiver will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and it's unclear how much interest he'll garner on the open market.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Listed as full practice participant
Robinson (concussion) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Robinson played 10 snaps on offense and made one catch for seven yards in Sunday's 52-6 win over the Jaguars before leaving the game to be evaluated for a concussion. Fortunately, Robinson looks to have avoided being diagnosed with a concussion, given his estimated full participation to begin Week 12 prep. He should be ready to play this Sunday against the Colts.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Evaluated for concussion
Robinson was evaluated for a concussion in the late moments of Sunday's 52-6 win over the Jaguars.
Robinson reeled in one of two targets for seven yards in the victory, but he did take a blow to the head in the fourth quarter. It's unclear if the wide receiver suffered a concussion, but if he did, he'd have to clear league protocols to have a chance to suit up against the Colts on the road in Week 12.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Four offensive snaps in win
Robinson failed to garner a target in Sunday night's 26-23 victory over Houston.
Robinson played just four offensive snaps, operating as an extreme depth option at wide receiver once again in Week 10. He had seen a slight uptick in usage over the past two weeks, but with Jameson Williams returning from a two-game suspension, Robinson reverted back to the bench versus the Texans. Over five games with the Lions in 2024, the veteran wideout has caught one of three targets for two yards.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Two-yard catch in win
Robinson caught his only target for two yards in Sunday's 24-14 win over the Packers.
Robinson was expected to see an increased role over the last two weeks with Jameson Williams (suspension) unavailable, but he logged only 31 offensive snaps combined versus the Titans and Packers, catching one of two targets for two yards. With Williams returning in Week 10 against the the Texans, Robinson's already limited role will likely shrink further.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Increased role expected
Head coach Dan Campbell stated Wednesday that Robinson will take on a heavy load against the Titans on Sunday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
Robinson was signed to the Lions' active roster Sept. 26, but he has only appeared in two games, seeing limited snaps and a single target. However, with Jameson Williams expected to be serving the first of a two-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy against performance-enhancing substances, there will be plenty of snaps up for grabs at wide receiver.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Signed to active roster
The Lions signed Robinson off their practice squad Thursday.
Robinson becomes the second Lions receiver this week to get a promotion from the practice squad, after Tim Patrick signed with Detroit on Tuesday. Both wideouts were elevated from the practice squad ahead of last week's win over the Cardinals, but Patrick (34 offensive snaps) saw significantly more playing time than Robinson (one snap). Expect Patrick to continue serving as the preferred No. 3 wideout behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, while Robinson contends with the likes of Kalif Raymond and Isaiah Williams (abdomen) for any reps that linger at receiver.

Allen Robinson: Goes back to practice squad
Robinson reverted to Detroit's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Robinson saw just one snap during Sunday's 20-13 win at Arizona and did not record any stats. As long as Detroit continues to lean on its running game and Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams remain available, it's difficult to imagine any other Lions wideout having any fantasy relevance.

Lions' Allen Robinson: Gets elevated from practice squad
The Lions elevated Robinson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Robinson wasn't able to secure a spot on the Lions' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but the 2014 second-round pick opted to stick around on Detroit's practice squad. He played 17 regular-season games for the Steelers in 2023 and finished with 34 catches (on 49 targets) for 280 yards.

Allen Robinson: Signs with Detroit's practice squad
Robinson signed with Detroit's practice squad Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Robinson's best days are behind him, as the three-time 1,000-yard receiver had just 1,029 receiving yards combined over the last three regular seasons between the Bears, Rams and Steelers, then failed to secure a roster spot on cut-down day with the Giants. Nonetheless, the 31-year-old Robinson has a chance to eventually move up to the active roster for a Lions team that's currently carrying only four healthy wide receivers.

Allen Robinson: Can't secure roster spot
The Giants are releasing Robinson on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Robinson finds himself among New York's initial cuts as the team trims down to a 53-man roster. The veteran wideout signed with the Giants back in May, but it appears he couldn't show enough in training camp and the preseason to cement a depth role for himself. Robinson will be free to search for a reserve gig elsewhere in the league, and he could also be a candidate to resurface on the team's practice squad.
