Bills' Quinton Jefferson: Signs with Buffalo
The Bills signed Jefferson to a one-year contract Wednesday.
Jefferson was released by Cleveland on Tuesday, but he quickly got another opportunity with a squad he's already familiar with. Back in the 2020-21 season, he posted 23 tackles (14 solo) including 3.5 sacks with Buffalo.

Jefferson had been on the sidelines for the Browns' last four games, and now he's bound for free agency. In five games this season, he's recorded six tackles (one solo) including 1.0 sacks.

Browns' Quinton Jefferson: Active for training camp
Jefferson (groin) has been an active participant at training camp with the Browns, Scott Petrak of Browns Zone reports.
Jefferson signed with Cleveland in the offseason after ending the 2023 season with the Jets by undergoing surgery to repair two ruptures of his groin. The defensive lineman is competing with the likes of Michael Hall and Siaki Ika for a spot on the active roster in 2024.

Browns' Quinton Jefferson: Finds new home
Jefferson (groin) signed a one-year contract with the Browns on Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Jefferson will be playing for his fifth team in five years in 2024, after one-year stops with the Bills, Raiders, Seahawks and Jets. The veteran interior lineman had 34 combined tackles last season, including a career-high 6.0 sacks in 14 games, before suffering two ruptures to his groin, which required surgery and ended his season early.

Jets' Quinton Jefferson: Recovering from two groin tears
Jefferson said Monday that he is recovering from surgery to repair two ruptures to his groin, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Jefferson also said that he plans to be ready for action before the Jets' training camp starts in the summer. Over 14 games in 2023, he recorded 34 tackles (13 solo), including a career-high six sacks.

Jefferson (hip) was placed on injured reserve by the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg and John Pullano of the team's official website reports.
Jefferson suffered a hip injury in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins and he'll now be sidelined for the rest of the 2023 regular season. The team signed Jalyn Holmes to the active roster to fill Jefferson's vacancy on the active roster. The 30-year-old will finish his campaign in New York with 34 tackles, including a career-high 6.0 sacks, over 14 contests.

Jefferson had five tackles (one solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons.
Jefferson's up to six sacks, which is a new career high for the 30-year-old defensive tackle, surpassing last season's mark of 5.5 with Seattle. He has 31 tackles (12 solo) and 12 quarterback hits while usually hovering around 50 percent of defensive snaps played in a rotational role on the Jets' robust defensive line.
