Morgan, who went undrafted in 2011, has spent the first six seasons of his career with the Seahawks. The USC product originally established himself as a special teams' player before earning a bigger role with the team. Seahawks' Mike Morgan: Expected to play Sunday
Morgan (groin) who was placed on IR prior to Week 5, is expected to be activated and play in Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports.
Although head coach Pete Carroll confirmed that he expects Morgan to be ready to go Sunday, he does not yet know if he will be a starter. Expect the team to ease the outside linebacker back into the swing of things if he does indeed return Sunday.

Morgan (groin), who was placed on the IR prior to Week 5, returned to practice Monday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
Morgan underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia on Oct. 4, and was expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks. A return to practice Monday would appear to be in line with that schedule. He would be eligible for a return from the IR following Week 12. Kevin Pierre-Louis and Cassius Marsh have filled in out outside linebacker while Morgan has been out.

Morgan is dealing with a groin issue, and saw a doctor in Philadelphia Monday as a result, Liz Mathews of ESPN Seattle reports.
Even though he saw a doctor regarding the issue, head coach Pete Carroll expects him to play in Thursday's matchup with Vikings. You would expect the Seahawks to play it cautious with the USC product if they were concerned about the injury, so it does not appear to be too serious. He still projects to be the Week 1 starter at the left outside linebacker position.
