Raiders' Phillip Dorsett: Lands in Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Dorsett to a contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Dorsett previously signed with the Raiders in March of 2023, but he was unable to break camp with the club. The veteran wideout hasn't gotten into an NFL game since that 2023 campaign, when he played in two regular-season contests with Denver and didn't catch any of his three targets. Dorsett will now have a chance to compete for a depth role in the Raiders' receiver corps, though he'll likely need to make a good impression to nab a roster spot.

Phillip Dorsett: Out in Atlanta
Dorsett was released by the Falcons on Monday.
Dorsett inked a reserve/future contract with the Falcons in early January, but the team has decided to part ways with the veteran wideout. The 2015 first-round pick last appeared in an NFL regular-season game with the Broncos in 2023, failing to catch any of his three targets across 34 offensive snaps. Now a free agent, Dorsett will likely look to find work with a team in need of wide receiver depth.

Broncos' Phillip Dorsett: Back with Denver
Dorsett signed with the Broncos on Monday after being released Friday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
The wide receiver spent 2023 with Denver's practice squad, playing in two games and not catching any of his three targets. Phillip Dorsett: Done in Denver
Dorsett is slated to be released by the Broncos on Friday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Dorsett spend the 2023 season on Denver's practice squad, but he won't stick with the team as rookie minicamp gets fully underway. The 2015 first-round pick appeared in two games last season but didn't secure any of his three targets, and he'll now need to search for a depth opportunity elsewhere in the league.

Dorsett spent the entirety of the 2023 campaign with Denver's practice squad, joining the active roster twice during the year and failing to record a reception on three targets while playing 34 offensive snaps. Phillip Dorsett: Goes back to practice squad
The Broncos reverted Dorsett to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Dorsett was elevated from the practice squad for the second time this season ahead of Sunday's Week 17 win over the Chargers, and he played 28 offensive snaps in the contest. The wideout drew two targets but didn't catch either one, and he's been unable to reel in any of his three targets on the campaign. Courtland Sutton (concussion) and Marvin Mims (hamstring) were both inactive Sunday, and Dorsett could be elevated again for Week 18 if either or both of the pair sits out again.

Broncos' Phillip Dorsett: Elevated for Week 17
The Broncos elevated Dorsett from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
This will be Dorsett's second elevation to the active roster this season. The first time he was active on game day was Week 1 against the Raiders, when he played six offensive snaps and didn't catch his lone target. Courtland Sutton (concussion) won't play Sunday, and how much work Dorsett is given could depend on whether Jerry Jeudy (illness) and/or Marvin Mims (hamstring) miss the game as well.
