Bills' Rafael Bush: Opts for retirement
Bush has decided to retire from football, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
The veteran actually had a decent shot at making the team after doing a nice job as a depth signee in 2018. However, he also had no chance of starting and the Bills have plenty of young guys to take his place. Additionally, a new veteran immediately entered the fold Friday, as the team signed Kurt Coleman. Bush has played in the league since 2011 and put together a nice career after going undrafted in 2010.

Bills' Rafael Bush: Ready to roll for Week 6
Bush practiced fully Friday for the first time since injuring his shoulder in Week 4 and does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Houston, the Bills' official site reports.
Bush will play in the game after sitting out a week, though fellow safety Micah Hyde -- who also missed Week 5 -- is also expected to play, leaving Bush in a reserve role.

Bills' Rafael Bush: Misses opportunity to start
Bush (shoulder) will not play in Sunday's game against the Titans, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Bush would have had a chance to start due to Micah Hyde being out with a groin injury, but was never able to practice himself this week and will join Hyde on the inactive list. The Bills will have to roll with rookie Siran Neal or former practice squad member Dean Marlowe as a replacement starter against Marcus Mariota and the Titans.

Bills' Rafael Bush: Third straight missed practice
Bush (shoulder) missed practice for the third straight day Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, the Bills' official site reports.
Three straight missed sessions likely means Bush is on the doubtful side of questionable, but we'll see if he's somehow able to rally and suit up for Week 5. Starting safety Micah Hyde also missed practice all week, so the Bills could be forced to slot in a third option come Sunday.

Bills' Rafael Bush: Another missed practice
Bush (shoulder) did not practice for the second straight day Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Bush had been in line to see starter's snaps Sunday against the Titans with regular safety Micah Hyde (groin) a long shot for the contest. However, he's got his own injury issue to work through and probably needs to get on the field in some capacity Friday to have a shot at playing this week.

Bills' Rafael Bush: Day-to-day with shoulder issue
Bush won't practice Wednesday and is considered day-to-day due to a shoulder injury, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.
Bush still has a couple of days to ramp up his participation in practice and the day-to-day tag suggests that could be a possibility. If he's able to go Sunday against the Titans, Bush should see a good number of snaps, especially with Micah Hyde (groin) unlikely to be available. Bush has collected 23 tackles (16 solo) through the first four games of the season.

Rafael Bush: Inks deal with Bills
Bush signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Bills on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Bush was rarely summoned on defense in 2017, as he made most of his contributions on special teams. The 30-year-old safety will likely have a similar role with the Bills since Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are both established in the secondary.
