Guy's release could be a sign that T.J. Green or Clayton Geathers are able to return from injury. However, it's still an odd move because the Colts' injury-depleted secondary is in need of depth.

Colts' Winston Guy: Suffers sprained ankle
Guy left Sunday's loss to Detroit in the fourth quarter due to a sprained left ankle, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Guy was pushed into playing significant snaps with the Colts suffering several injuries in the secondary. The Colts had six members of the secondary injured late in the game.
