Lions' Jake McQuaide: Lands one-year deal
McQuaide agreed to a one-year, $1.317 million contract with the Lions on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
McQuaide spent most of the 2022 campaign on injured reserve after undergoing surgery to repair a torn triceps, limiting him to just four games during his second season with the Cowboys. However, he'll now attempt to carve out the long-snapping job with the Lions ahead of the 2023 season.

Cowboys' Jake McQuaide: Placed on injured reserve
McQuaide (triceps) was placed on IR on Wednesday.
McQuiade will require surgery to repair his torn triceps, which will most likely keep him out for the remainder of the season. This will leave the Cowboys without their long snapper, which has led to the addition of potential replacements, Tucker Addington and Matt Overton, to the team's practice squad. They'll likely compete for a spot on the active roster for Sunday's game against the Rams.

Cowboys' Jake McQuaide: Suffers torn triceps
McQuaide will likely miss the remainder of the 2022 season after sustaining a torn triceps injury, Nick Eatman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
He'll need surgery to repair the damage, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports, so it seems unlikely McQuaide will return this year. Dallas is holding multiple workout sessions Tuesday in an effort to find a fill-in for the veteran snapper.
