Seahawks' Mike Iupati: Hanging up cleats
Iupati announced his decision to retire from the NFL on Monday, Peter Harriman of the Spokesman-Review reports.
Iupati spent the last two years as a starter with the Seahawks, and instead of entering free agency this offseason, he's opted to call it a career. Injury concerns, including a chronic neck issue, played a significant role in the 33-year-old's decision. Iupati wraps up his career with four Pro-Bowl selections.

Seahawks' Mike Iupati: Shakes off injury
Iupati (neck) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
After missing the last two games with a neck injury, Iupati's set to return to action in Saturday's wild-card game against the Rams. He's slated to start at left guard, bumping Jordan Simmons to a backup role.

Seattle didn't officially announce an injury for Iupati, who limped off the field late in the fourth quarter, but the starting left guard appeared to be battling an injury. Before returning Sunday, Iupati had been sidelined due to a knee issue since Week 4.
