Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Could see larger role
Lewis is in line for a larger role now that Logan Ryan (leg) is out for the season, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Lewis averaged 52 snaps per game between Weeks 4 and 7 this year but has fallen out of the rotation almost entirely since then. Ryan's injury Sunday opened the door for Lewis to again see the field, and he responded with a season-high nine tackles and a pass defensed. He'll figure to see significant time for the remainder of the year if he can maintain Sunday's high level of play.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Steps up
Lewis recorded nine tackles and pass defensed in Sunday's 17-0 win over the Giants.
Lewis led the team with nine tackles, his highest mark in a single-game since 2014. He was called into a bigger role after Kenny Vaccaro was forced to exit the contest with a concussion. Depending on Vaccaro's progress this week, Lewis could be in line for more snaps in Week 16 against Washington.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Practices in full
Lewis (foot) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Lewis was held out of Sunday's win over the Jaguars due to a foot injury but appears to have fully recovered. Barring any setbacks, Lewis seems on track to suit up as a depth safety against the Eagles on Sunday.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Will not play Sunday
Lewis (foot) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Lewis was originally deemed questionable for the contest, but the Titans have opted to keep him sidelined. The decision is surprising, as he was a full participant at Friday's practice. His absence should open up more potential playing time for Dane Cruikshank and Brynden Trawick in the depth safety role.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Full practice participant
Lewis (foot) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
This is the best Friday designation that Lewis, who hasn't suited up for a game since 2016, has had this season. If he is able to play Sunday, don't expect him to have any IDP impact, especially since he could have a cap on his snap count.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Won't play Sunday
Lewis (foot) has been ruled out against Houston on Sunday.
Lewis will miss his second straight game of the regular season due to a foot injury. His role on special teams will once again be filled by other depth players on Tennessee's roster.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Not practicing Wednesday
Lewis (foot) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.
Lewis was held out of Tennessee's season opener due to his foot injury, and does not appear close to a full recovery. It seems unlikely that Lewis will play against the Texans on Sunday, so his role on special teams will likely be filled by another of the team's depth pieces.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Sidelined for Week 1
Lewis (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Lewis popped up on the injury report this week when he didn't practice Wednesday due to a foot injury, and it has ended up being serious enough to keep the defensive back sidelined for Week 1. Lewis was expected to primarily be a contributor on special teams this season, so his absence won't have too much of an impact on the Titans.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Held out of Wednesday practice
Lewis did not practice Wednesday due to an apparent foot injury, Erik Bacharach of tennessean.com reports.
The Titans haven't released much information regarding Lewis' status heading into Week 1, but there is reason for concern. Despite being listed as a two-deep safety, Lewis was expected to be a contributor on special teams. Lewis' availability could be made clearer as the week progresses.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Returns to practice
Lewis (arm) participated in Titans practice Monday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Lewis apparently suffered an arm injury during last Wednesday's practice, but the veteran safety appears to have recovered. Now healthy, the 29-year-old should see starting snaps at the safety position with Jonathan Cyprien (knee) having been placed on injured reserve.

Titans' Kendrick Lewis: Agrees to deal with Titans
Lewis (thigh) agreed to a contract Tuesday with the Titans, Herbie Teope of NFL.com reports.
Lewis has made 81 starts since entering the NFL in 2010, but his career may be on life support after he was unable to find work last season upon being released by the Ravens in March 2017. He'll vie for a depth role at safety with Tennessee during training camp.
