Patriots RT Sebastian Vollmer has missed the Patriots' offseason after having a "small" unknown procedure on his back, the Boston Globe reported from a league source. He is expected to be 100 percent for training camp. Vollmer, who played just six games last season due to back and ankle injuries, had his sophomore (2006) season in college wiped out with major back surgery. He is in the final year of his rookie contract.
