D.J. Bryant played in 41 games for James Madison University, capping off his career with 48 tackles and seven sacks last season. Bryant (6-3, 240) played DE in college, but will be looked at as a LB by the Texans, who are seeking depth on the outside beyond starters Connor Barwin and Brooks Reed.
