The Texans have revealed that inside linebacker Darryl Sharpton has a concussion and has been going through the league-mandated protocol, the Houston Chronicle is reporting. Sharpton sustained the injury before the final preseason game. His status for the game Monday night against San Diego has yet to be determined.
Sharpton has had trouble staying on the field. He missed nine games last season with a hip injury.
