Michael Higgins came into OTAs as the Saints’ No. 3 TE, and it appears it’s his job to lose. Higgins was as high as No. 2 on the depth chart last season when TEs David Thomas and John Gilmore suffered injuries. Thomas is at full health, but Gilmore isn’t on the roster, so Higgins will continue to receive significant snaps.
