Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Explodes for 30 points in win
Porzingis ended with 30 points (11-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 33 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 win over the Pelicans.
The 30-point mark was a season-high output for Porzingis. Even though two games are not enough of a sample size to draw meaningful conclusions, he's shot 18-for-27 from the field and 4-for-9 from three-point range in his two appearances since returning from a three-game absence due to a knee injury. Porzingis should be a must-start player in all formats as long as he's healthy, but given that he's already missed six games in 2025-26, that's far from a certainty.

Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Sniffs triple-double in win
Johnson closed Saturday's 115-98 win over New Orleans with 18 points (6-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists and one block in 34 minutes.
Johnson didn't have his best shooting performance, but that won't matter much given the excellent job he did in other categories. The star forward ended just one assist shy of a triple-double, but that has become a trend of late, as he's either reached that mark or has come close to it in each of his last seven outings. Johnson has been the best player for the Hawks this season and looks comfortable in an alpha role while Trae Young (knee) remains sidelined.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Comes close to double-double
Daniels registered 14 points (6-15 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 win over New Orleans.
Daniels recorded his best scoring output since Nov. 4, when he had 18 points in a win over the Magic. Scoring prowess aside, Daniels was also his usual self when it came to filling out the stat sheet. This was his fourth consecutive game with at least 10 rebounds and assists combined, and he also extended his streak of games with at least one steal this season to 17.

Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Won't play Saturday
Okongwu (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Okongwu will sit out the first leg of this back-to-back set, but maybe he'll be able to get back out there for Sunday's game against the Hornets. His absence should open up minutes for Mouhamed Gueye.

Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Won't play Saturday
Wallace (personal) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Wallace will be sidelined for Saturday's road contest due to personal reasons, and his next opportunity to play is Sunday against the Hornets at home. He is averaging 15.7 minutes per game in a reserve role this season, so his absence means more minutes will be available for Luke Kennard and Vit Krejci.

Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Questionable for Saturday
Okongwu is questionable for Saturday's game in New Orleans due to left ankle inflammation, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Okongwu tweaked his ankle during Thursday's loss to the Spurs, and with Saturday's matchup against the Pelicans being the first of a back-to-back set, he may sit that one out. If Okongwu is unavailable for Saturday's game, that would open up some minutes for Mouhamed Gueye.

Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Scores 16 points in return
Porzingis amassed 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 29 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to San Antonio.
Porzingis snapped a three-game absence Thursday and delivered a solid stat line across the board. He ended just one minute away from 30 -- he's reached that plateau only once this season. Porzingis is a reliable option to score in double digits and should be valuable in fantasy as long as he stays healthy.

Hawks' Jalen Johnson: Comes close to triple-double
Johnson had 26 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to the Spurs.
Another game, another instance of Johnson flirting with a triple-double while being a reliable fantasy option on both ends of the court. The forward has put up great numbers in 2025-26, stepping up as a reliable go-to threat in the absence of Trae Young (knee). Over his last five games, the star forward has averaged 26.2 points, 11.6 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Balanced stat line Thursday
Daniels contributed eight points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and three steals across 31 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to the Spurs.
Daniels didn't have his best scoring output in this nine-point loss, as Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jalen Johnson did that, but Daniels delivered solid numbers in other categories. As a defensive specialist, Daniels has enough talent to be a valuable fantasy option due to his ability to fill the stat sheet across all categories, even in games when his scoring output is limited.

Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Rolls to 38-point night
Alexander-Walker totaled 38 points (13-17 FG, 8-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 34 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to the Spurs.
Alexander-Walker couldn't be stopped from beyond the arc, where he torched the nets for a season high in made threes. He was also effective on the opposite end of the court, where he led Atlanta in swats. The Virginia Tech product has impressed from a scoring perspective over his last three appearances, averaging 29.3 points during this hot stretch.

Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Returns Thursday
Okongwu (undisclosed) returned to Thursday's game against the Spurs with 5:26 remaining in the third quarter, per the broadcast.
Okongwu exited to the locker room in the second quarter after taking a spill, though he returned to action in the third. The big man should be able to handle his usual playing time the rest of the way.

Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Heading to locker room Thursday
Okongwu took a fall and headed to the locker room during the second quarter of Thursday's game against the Spurs, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
Okongwu was down for a minute but appeared to be walking fine on his way to the locker room. It remains to be seen if the big man, who posted seven points and two rebounds in the first half, will return for the second half.

Hawks' Vit Krejci: Shifting to bench
Krejci will come off the bench Thursday night against the Spurs, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Krejci drew a spot start Tuesday given the absence of Zaccharie Risacher, but he'll retreat to a bench role now that Atlanta's starting five has returned to health. Krejci has cooled off a bit lately but has really had his shot working at times over his last five appearances off the bench, averaging 16.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25.8 minutes during that span.

Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Moving to bench Thursday
Okongwu is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Spurs, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
The Hawks will have Kristaps Porzingis back in the lineup for this matchup, so Okongwu will return to the bench. The big man has alternated between the starting lineup and the second unit, starting six of his 15 contests. Okongwu is averaging 13.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game when deployed off the bench this season.

Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Available Thursday
Risacher (hip) is available for Thursday's game against the Spurs.
The second-year forward is set to return after missing Tuesday's game due to a left hip contusion, which he suffered on a hard fall Sunday. Before the injury, Risacher was heating up, posting 15.4 points a game. With Risacher back in the starting lineup, Luke Kennard and Asa Newell should see reduced roles.

Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Available Thursday
Porzingis (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Spurs.
The veteran big man is set to return after missing three straight games due to right knee soreness. With Porzingis back, Onyeka Okongwu is expected to move back to the bench. Porzingis has been productive when available, averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 blocks, but he has yet to play more than 30 minutes in a game this season, suggesting Atlanta may be monitoring his workload.

Hawks' Kristaps Porzingis: Questionable for Thursday
Porzingis (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Spurs, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Porzingis has missed three straight games due to right knee soreness, and he's at risk of missing a fourth. If he's sidelined Thursday, Onyeka Okongwu and Mouhamed Gueye would likely see an uptick in playing time.
