  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Not starting Tuesday

Ellis won't start Tuesday's game against the Lakers. With Jarrett Allen (knee) back in the lineup for the second leg of this back-to-back, Ellis will slide to the second unit. He has averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals in 23.6 minutes per game over his last five appearances off the bench.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Starting against Jazz

Ellis will start in Monday's game versus Utah. Cleveland is down Jarrett Allen (knee), Max Strus (foot), Dean Wade (ankle) and Jaylon Tyson (toe), so Ellis will return to the starting lineup. The 26-year-old last started in Wednesday's 120-103 loss to the Heat, finishing with 17 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 37 minutes of work.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Starting Wednesday

Ellis will start Wednesday versus the Heat, Spencer Davies of ClutchPoints.com reports. Ellis is getting a spot-start with Dean Wade (ankle) unavailable, and it'll be Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Sam Merrill and Evan Mobley joining him in the first unit for Wednesday's game. As a starter this season, Ellis has averaged 7.7 points, 1.6 triples, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Won't start Tuesday

Ellis won't start against the Bucks on Tuesday. With Sam Merrill (hamstring) back in the lineup following a two-game absence, Ellis will slide to the second unit. In five appearances off the bench this month, the 26-year-old has averaged 10.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks in 27.8 minutes per tilt.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Scores 20 points with five treys

Ellis finished with 20 points (6-9 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 128-122 loss to the Magic. Ellis has been scorching over the past two games, converting 61.1 percent of his shot attempts to go with averages of 19.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.5 triples and 1.0 steals per game. He won't stay this hot for long, but he's worth a look in deep leagues if you need some points and triples.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Available to play Sunday

Ellis (finger) is listed as available for Sunday's game against the Nets. Ellis has been cleared to return after missing one game with a left index finger fracture. While James Harden (thumb) is also expected to return to the lineup Sunday, Ellis should still see a healthy workload in a backcourt that remains without Donovan Mitchell (groin).

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Questionable for Sunday

Ellis (finger) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Nets. Ellis is in danger of missing a second consecutive contest due to a left index finger fracture. However, if he's cleared to suit up, the 26-year-old guard would likely see increased minutes due to Donovan Mitchell (groin) being sidelined. Over his last five outings, Ellis has averaged 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks in 22.4 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Ruled out Friday

Ellis (finger) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons. Ellis was initially listed as questionable for Friday's contest, though he'll be held out due to a left index finger fracture. His next opportunity to play will come Sunday against the Nets. With the 26-year-old guard joining Donovan Mitchell (groin) and James Harden (thumb) on the sidelines, Sam Merrill, Dennis Schroder and Craig Porter are likely to see increased playing time, while Tyrese Proctor could enter the rotation.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Added to injury report

Ellis is questionable for Friday's game against Detroit due to a left index finger fracture. Ellis presumably suffered the injury at some point during Wednesday's game against Milwaukee, though it appears he plans to try to play through the fracture. He'll likely test the injury during shootaround and pre-game warmups to see if he's able to suit up Friday.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Fares well off bench

Ellis racked up nine points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and two steals across 23 minutes during Sunday's 121-113 loss to Oklahoma City. Ellis made a strong impact off the bench and continues to play a key role for the second unit. Since joining Cleveland via trade, Ellis has averaged 21.4 minutes across five appearances with 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 three-pointers.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Logs 27 minutes in win

Ellis chipped in six points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 win over Washington. Ellis logged 27 minutes Wednesday, the most he has played since joining the Cavaliers. While he has provided the team with consistent defensive contributions off the bench, his playing time has been largely underwhelming. With that said, he is worth keeping an eye on, particularly if he can carve out a regular 25-minute role for himself, given his defensive upside.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Not listed on injury report

Ellis (recently traded) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Clippers. Ellis was traded to Cleveland on Saturday and is set to make his Cavaliers debut in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old guard averaged 5.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 17.6 minutes per contest over 43 regular-season appearances (five starts) with the Kings this season.

  • Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Traded to Cleveland

Ellis was traded alongside Dennis Schroder to the Cavaliers from the Kings on Saturday in exchange for De'Andre Hunter, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. After months of speculation, Ellis finally finds himself a new home. He was a standout player for the Kings during the 2024-25 season, but he was hardly utilized this campaign with an average of 17.3 minutes across 43 appearances. The Cavaliers do have considerable depth at guard, and if Darius Garland (toe) returns soon, Ellis may struggle to see enough minutes to make a big impact in fantasy hoops. While the trade is pending, Ellis can be considered questionable for Sunday's game against Portland.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Notches 14 points in loss

Ellis ended Sunday's 139-116 loss to the Pistons with 14 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) across 21 minutes. Ellis picked up a handful of minutes in garbage time due to the lopsided score. The defensive specialist has been used sparingly by the Kings this season, and that has resulted in his name appearing in the rumor mill numerous times ahead of the trade deadline.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Fades injury report

Ellis (knee) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Heat. Ellis has missed the Kings' last two games due to left knee soreness, but his absence from the injury report indicates that he'll be available against Miami on Tuesday. He saw his minutes fluctuate prior to his injury, but his return would likely result in fewer minutes being available for Nique Clifford and Malik Monk.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Won't go vs. Blazers

Ellis (knee) is out for Sunday's game against Portland. Ellis will miss a second consecutive matchup while nursing left knee soreness. He hasn't been all that involved in the rotation of late, but Nique Clifford could pick up a few extra minutes Sunday in Ellis' absence.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Ruled out Friday

Ellis (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Wizards. Ellis is dealing with left knee soreness and will miss his first game due to an injury this season. His next opportunity to play will come Sunday against Portland. With the 26-year-old guard unavailable, Malik Monk and Dennis Schroder are candidates for a slight bump in minutes.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Starting Friday

Ellis will start against the Warriors on Friday, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports. Ellis will get the starting nod against Golden State after coming off the bench in each of the Kings' last five games. As a result, Precious Achiuwa will slide to the second unit. Ellis has started four games so far this season, during which he has averaged 7.8 points and 1.3 steals in 21.8 minutes per contest.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Moving to bench Tuesday

Ellis won't start against the Clippers on Tuesday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. With Keegan Murray (calf) returning to action, Ellis will slide to the second unit. In eight appearances off the bench this month, the 25-year-old has averaged 3.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 16.3 minutes per contest.

  • Kings' Keon Ellis: Scores season-high 21 points

Ellis registered 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-10 3Pt), one rebound, two blocks and three steals in 32 minutes during Saturday's 113-107 win over the Mavericks. Ellis moved into the starting lineup for just the third time this season, casually dropping a season-high 21 points, including five three-pointers. While this was certainly an encouraging performance, it should be noted that Ellis had played a total of just 23 minutes in the previous three games, failing to score in all three. Managers could consider grabbing him in case this role sticks moving forward, while still keeping in mind he plays for Sacramento, where apparently, no one's role is safe.
