  • Pistons' Quincy Olivari: Inks deal with Detroit

Olivari signed a training camp contract with Detroit on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Olivari will compete for a spot on Detroit's regular-season roster, and the club will hold his G League rights. The 23-year-old guard spent most of the 2024-25 campaign with the G League's South Bay Lakers, averaging 17.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.7 minutes per game over 40 outings.

  • Nets' Quincy Olivari: Drops 18 in SL loss

Olivari finished with 18 points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 9-9 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Friday's 87-83 Summer League loss to the 76ers.

Olivari didn't have the best shooting performance from the field or beyond the arc during his team's Las Vegas Summer League finale, but he did hit all nine of his attempts from the free-throw line. The Xavier product is hoping to land another NBA contract after being waived by the Lakers on Jan. 15.

  • Nets' Quincy Olivari: Paces second unit in SL loss

Olivari posted 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one assist across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 97-93 Summer League loss to the Knicks.

Olivari led Brooklyn's bench in scoring and was one of four Nets players to reach double figures. Moreover, he posted eight of his 16 points in the final quarter, when he shot 3-for-5 from the field. The 24-year-old guard signed a two-way contract with the Lakers in October but was waived in January. He spent most of the 2024-25 campaign with the G League's South Bay Lakers, averaging 17.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals across 32.7 minutes per game in 40 outings.

  • Lakers' Quincy Olivari: Dealing with ankle injury

Olivari has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nuggets due to a right ankle sprain, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Olivari, one of the Lakers' two-way players, has yet to make his NBA debut and presumably sustained the injury during his most recent appearance with the G League's South Bay Lakers on Wednesday.
