After sitting out Monday's loss to the Hawks with a thumb injury, Queta is ready to get back into the lineup Wednesday and will likely push Luka Garza to the bench. Celtics' Neemias Queta: Unavailable versus Atlanta
Rotowire
Queta (thumb) won't play in Monday's game against the Hawks, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.com.
Queta finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in Sunday's 114-99 win over Charlotte. However, he won't suit up for the second of a back-to-back, meaning his next opportunity to play will be Wednesday in Miami. With Queta ruled out, Luka Garza is anticipated to enter the starting lineup. In four starts this season, Garza has averaged 6.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 steals across 17.8 minutes of work.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Doubtful for Monday
Rotowire
Queta is doubtful for Monday's game against the Hawks with a right thumb sprain.
The injury likely isn't a major concern for Queta, who may just be in line for a maintenance day as the Celtics enter the second leg of a back-to-back set. Assuming Queta ends up sitting out Monday, Luka Garza and Amari Williams will likely absorb most of the minutes at center.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Nets 17 points with eight boards
Rotowire
Queta contributed 17 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 114-99 victory over the Hornets.
Queta attempted just his sixth three-pointer of the season in this one, but it ended like the previous five -- with a miss. While he regularly brings donuts to the three-point category, he's still been flirting with top-75 value on the season thanks to his solid output in rebounding (8.3), shot blocking (1.3) and field goal percentage (64).

Rotowire
Queta (thumb) has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Sunday's game against Charlotte, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
It looks like Queta will play through a right thumb sprain for Sunday's game, though there's no guarantee that he'll be available for the second leg of the Celtics' back-to-back set against the Hawks on Monday. Queta has logged double-digit rebounds in three of his last four outings and has averaged 10.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.9 blocks over 27.9 minutes per game across his last seven appearances.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Iffy to play Sunday
Rotowire
Queta (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Queta has recently been playing through a right thumb sprain. The injury hasn't been severe enough for him to miss time, but if he doesn't play Sunday, then Luka Garza would be the top candidate to enter the Celtics' starting lineup. Since March 1, Queta has averaged 9.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 blocks over 26.6 minutes per contest.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Cleared to play
Rotowire
Queta (thumb) will play Friday against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Questionable with thumb sprain
Rotowire
Queta is questionable for Friday's game against Atlanta with a right thumb sprain.
Queta is at risk of missing just his fifth contest of the season Friday. If the big man cannot suit up, Luka Garza would likely start at center and make sense as a strong plug-and-play fantasy option in most leagues.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Efficient in win over OKC
Rotowire
Queta logged 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 119-109 victory over the Thunder.
Queta plays a secondary role on offense, but the big man has found ways to contribute and is putting up solid numbers across the board. He left his mark defensively Wednesday with two blocks, making it the third time he's done that in his last seven games. It was also the third time he scored in double digits during that span. He'll remain valuable as long as he continues to start and see the majority of center minutes while Nikola Vucevic (finger) is sidelined. Queta is shooting 65.9 percent from the floor in that seven-game stretch and 63.6 percent since the All-Star break.
Queta produced 12 points (4-4 FG, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in 18 minutes during Friday's 117-112 victory over Memphis.
Aside from notching his fourth double-double since the beginning of the month, it's worth noting that Queta also achieved this feat by not missing any of his shots from the field. His offensive touches will be even more inconsistent now that Jayson Tatum is back in the lineup, but the big man is making the most of his opportunities. Queta is averaging 10.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in March while shooting 62.7 percent from the floor.

Queta (rest) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Hornets, per Keith Smith of Spotrac.com.
The Celtics gave Queta the night off during Monday's win over the Bucks, but the 26-year-old big man is ready to return to the floor Wednesday and figures to send Nikola Vucevic back to the bench. Celtics' Neemias Queta: Receiving rest Monday
Rotowire
The Celtics have ruled out Queta for Monday's game against the Bucks for rest purposes.
Queta will get a well-deserved breather one day after posting a career-high 27 points and grabbing 17 boards in a 114-98 win over the 76ers. In Queta's absence, Nikola Vucevic will likely draw his first start since joining the Celtics ahead of the trade deadline, while Luka Garza could re-enter the rotation as Vucevic's primary backup.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Another double-double Tuesday
Rotowire
Queta supplied 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 97-81 win over the Suns.
Queta recorded his second straight double-double, once again outperforming Nikola Vucevic. While the addition of Vucevic has had an impact on Queta's playing time, the fact that he is a superior defender appears to have him ahead of Vucevic in the rotation. Assuming he can see close to 22 minutes per night moving forward, Queta should still be able to flirt with top 100 value.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Quiet in loss
Rotowire
Queta ended Sunday's 111-89 loss to the Knicks with four points (2-4 FG), five rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes.
Queta saw 23 minutes as the starting center, matching the workload of Nikola Vucevic. This has the look of a timeshare, but it could fluctuate depending on matchups -- Queta is more of a defensive presence while Vucevic is instant offense.

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Unlikely to play Wednesday
Rotowire
Queta (illness) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Queta has been dealing with a lingering illness of late and is now likely to miss his first game since late November. If the big man is ultimately ruled out, Amari Williams will likely see an uptick in minutes, especially if Luka Garza (illness) remains sidelined.
