  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Quiet again in win

Risacher provided eight points (2-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, one block and one steal over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 victory over the Nets. Risacher continues to offer very little, with his low usage resulting in limited production. Through three games played, he is averaging just 8.7 points and 1.0 three-pointers in 22.9 minutes per game. Despite having seemingly locked down a starting position, there may be no reason to be holding him outside of deeper fantasy formats at this point.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Available vs. Brooklyn

Risacher (ankle) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Nets. After scoring only two points in 20 minutes during Monday's game against the Bulls, Risacher will be back in action looking for a bounce-back performance. The French import is averaging 9.0 points and 1.0 rebounds per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 25 percent from deep.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Posts dud in loss

Risacher produced two points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) over 20 minutes during Monday's 128-123 loss to the Bulls. Risacher returned from a two-game absence and saw a modest workload in the loss. He couldn't find his rhythm from the field, so coach Quin Snyder opted to lean on Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard in the second unit. Risacher did have a strong showing Opening Night against the Raptors on Oct. 22, so his fantasy managers will be hoping he rediscovers his form quickly.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Good to go Monday

Risacher (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Bulls, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Risacher will shed his questionable tag and return from a two-game absence due to a sprained right ankle. The second-year swingman sustained the injury in Wednesday's season-opening loss to the Raptors, during which he recorded 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt), two rebounds and one block in 21 minutes. With Risacher back in action, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely retreat to the bench.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Iffy for Monday

Risacher (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against the Bulls, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Risacher is in jeopardy of missing his third straight game due to a sprained right ankle he sustained in Wednesday's season-opening loss to the Raptors. If the 20-year-old is ultimately ruled out, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Vit Krejci are candidates for increased playing time.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Won't play vs. OKC

Risacher (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Thunder, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Risacher will miss a second consecutive game due to an ankle injury. The team will likely turn to Nickeil Alexander-Walker to take Risacher's spot in the starting lineup, with Luke Kennard, Vit Krejci and Mouhamed Gueye potentially seeing more time on the floor off the bench.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Ruled out with ankle sprain

Risacher won't play in Friday's game against the Magic due to a right ankle sprain, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The second year-forward can be considered day-to-day going forward, though he's facing a quick turnaround ahead of Saturday's clash with the defending-champion Thunder. With Risacher out of action Friday, the Hawks would figure to turn to Nickeil Alexander-Walker for a spot start at small forward.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Iffy for Friday

Risacher (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Risacher is dealing with a right ankle sprain that he suffered in the season opener against the Raptors. If he's unable to play Friday, the team will likely turn to Vit Krejci and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to help shoulder the load.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Heads to locker room

Risacher exited Wednesday's game against the Raptors and went to the locker room with an apparent right leg injury, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Risacher collided with Jakob Poeltl in transition and wasn't able to put much weight on his right leg as he exited the floor, per Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site. While he's sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard are candidates for more minutes.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores team-high 24 points

Risacher produced 24 points (10-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 25 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to Houston. Risacher returned to the court after missing the previous game due to rest purposes. He twisted his ankle on the final play of the first half, but he started the second half and didn't miss a beat, leading the Hawks with 24 points in just 25 minutes. Atlanta is poised to make a push this season, following the offseason acquisition of Kristaps Porzingis, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard. However, a portion of the team's success could hinge on the improved play of Risacher following what was a serviceable rookie campaign.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Unavailable Monday

Risacher (rest) won't play in Monday's preseason game against the Heat, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. The Hawks are resting all of their regulars Monday. Risacher's next chance to suit up will come during Thursday's preseason finale against the Rockets.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores 16 points Saturday

Risacher posted 16 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), a rebound, two assists and a steal across 25 minutes in Saturday's 122-116 preseason win over the Grizzlies. Risacher was a regular starter for the Hawks in his rookie year in 2024-25, when he was part of the first unit in all but two of his 75 regular-season appearances. He's expected to maintain that role once the Hawks open their regular season against the Raptors on Oct. 22. However, he might play a lesser role on offense after the recovery of Jalen Johnson and the addition of Kristaps Porzingis.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Gets starting nod Monday

Risacher is in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason game against the Rockets, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Risacher will start in the Hawks' preseason opener after opening 73 of 75 regular-season games as a rookie last year, when he averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.6 minutes per contest. The 20-year-old will line up alongside offseason addition Kristaps Porzingis in the frontcourt, sending Onyeka Okongwu to the bench.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Muted performance in loss

Risacher closed with seven points (2-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 120-95 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. Risacher struggled to generate anything offensively while playing in his first-ever postseason game, though the usage was encouraging. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Risacher still has a long way to go as a fantasy asset -- he finished well outside the top-200 for nine-category value with 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.6 three-pointers on 45.5 percent shooting from the field.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Erupts for career-best 36 points

Risacher chipped in 36 points (12-21 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 7-9 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 35 minutes during Sunday's 145-124 win over Milwaukee. The first overall pick in the 2024 Draft looked like a future franchise player Sunday, setting a new career scoring high as he out-dueled Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 31 points. Risacher remains inconsistent -- he scored only five points in Thursday's loss to the Heat -- but that's to be expected from a kid who doesn't turn 20 years old for another couple of weeks. He's drained multiple three-pointers in seven of the last 10 games, averaging 17.7 points, 4.3 boards, 2.4 threes and 1.2 assists over that stretch while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Puts up 22 points in win

Risacher amassed 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 27 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 victory over the 76ers. Risacher didn't do much aside from scoring the rock. Still, fantasy managers should be happy to see the rookie being more consistent in the scoring column in recent weeks. This was the third time he cleared the 20-point mark over his last seven games, a stretch in which he's averaging 16.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 53.5 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores 16 points

Risacher registered 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt) and two rebounds in 23 minutes during Sunday's 122-114 loss to Brooklyn. The rookie has managed to solidify his position as a starter, and while there have been some ups and downs, he's been productive across the board. Risacher has scored in double digits in five of his eight March appearances, reaching the 20-point mark twice in that span.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Leads charge in comeback win

Risacher ended Monday's 132-130 win over the Grizzlies with a team-high 27 points (11-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt), one rebound, one block and four steals in 32 minutes. It was the 19-year-old's best scoring effort since Jan. 30, when Risacher poured in 30 points against the Cavs. The first overall pick in the 2024 Draft also set a new career high with four steals, and while his production has been erratic on occasion, he continues to flash his impressive upside. Risacher has drained multiple three-pointers in six of the last seven games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.1 boards, 2.6 threes, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks over that stretch while shooting an eye-popping 52.9 percent (18-for-34) from beyond the arc.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Muted performance in win

Risacher closed with two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Monday's 98-86 victory over Miami. This was a tough showing for the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, but this was just a bump in the road of what's been a pretty good month. Through 10 February outings, Risacher has averaged 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes per game.
... See More ... See Less
  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Game-high 30 points in return

Risacher dropped 30 points (11-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), two steals, one rebound and one assist in 25 minutes during Thursday's 137-115 loss to the Cavaliers. The rookie forward showed no signs of rust in just his second game back from an adductor injury that sidelined him for seven of his last eight games. As expected, his time on the court was limited, but he produced nonetheless, putting up the second-best scoring performance of his young career and marking the first time he's logged more points than minutes played. His two steals were a nice addition to the fantasy output, but that aside he didn't contribute much in other facets of the game. With Jalen Johnson (shoulder) ruled out for the season, Risacher should be expected to carry a larger role in head coach Quin Snyder's offense going forward.
