  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Double-doubles in SL loss

Thiero finished Saturday's 92-88 Summer League loss to Golden State with 18 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals over 26 minutes.

It was an efficient performance from Thiero, who made all nine of his shots between the field and the charity stripe while leading the Lakers in points, rebounds and steals. It was Thiero's first double-double of the Summer League and his most points in a game since July 10 against the Thunder (20). The 2025 second-rounder averaged just 6.0 minutes per game across 25 regular-season games in his rookie year, but he'll have the opportunity to earn a larger, more consistent role for himself in training camp and in the preseason.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Scores 15 in SL win

Thiero posted 15 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes in Saturday's 91-70 Summer League win over the Mavericks.

Behind a 34-point outburst from Arthur Kaluma, Thiero finished as the Lakers' second-leading scorer in the blowout win. He has now scored in double figures in four consecutive outings dating back to the California Classic Summer League. After averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.0 minutes per contest across 25 regular-season appearances as a rookie, the second-year wing will look to carve out a larger role during the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Paces Lakers in SL win Friday

Thiero (wrist) finished with 20 points (8-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks across 30 minutes in Friday's 96-84 Summer League win over Oklahoma City.

Thiero had been battling a wrist injury heading into this contest. However, not only did he suit up and get the start, but he also finished with a game-high 20 points. The 2025 No. 36 overall pick averaged 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.1 blocks and 0.3 steals over 6.0 minutes in 25 regular-season appearances for the Lakers in 2025-26. If Thiero continues to play well during Summer League, he might be able to climb the depth chart heading into the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Starting versus Thunder

Thiero (wrist) will start in Friday's Summer League game against Oklahoma City, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Thiero had been dealing with a wrist injury, but he'll get the start to open Los Angeles' Las Vegas stint. The 22-year-old appeared in 25 regular-season games for the Lakers in 2025-26, averaging 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.1 blocks and 0.3 steals across 6.0 minutes.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Dealing with right wrist injury

Thiero did not play in Monday's 88-84 California Classic Summer League win over the Spurs due to a right wrist injury, Khobi Price of The California Post reports.

Lakers' Summer League head coach Ty Abbott said he's hopeful that Thiero will be available for their first game in Las Vegas against the Thunder on Friday, so for now, he can be considered questionable for that one. The good news is that it doesn't sound like Thiero is dealing with anything too serious.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Scores 13 in SL win

Thiero recorded 13 points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), three rebounds, three steals and two assists in 28 minutes during Sunday's 93-91 double-overtime win over the Heat at the California Classic Summer League.

Thiero put together a solid all-around performance Sunday despite struggling from the floor. He stood out defensively, logging a game-high three steals. Through two Summer League games, Thiero is averaging 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists in 24.5 minutes per contest. One area in which he has struggled thus far is efficiency, as he has shot just 31.6 percent from the field on 19 attempts.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Logs three minutes

Thiero produced zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) over three minutes during Monday's 115-110 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Los Angeles' second-round rookie was used sparingly by the Lakers in 2025-26, logging a total of 25 regular-season appearances for an average of 6.0 minutes per contest. Depending on how many changes the team makes this offseason, Thiero could be in a better spot to compete for minutes in 2026-27.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Returns from G League

The Lakers recalled Thiero from the G League's South Bay Lakers on Sunday.

Since their last game Thursday, the Lakers have lost Austin Reaves (oblique) and Luka Doncic (hamstring) to long-term injuries, and with Marcus Smart (ankle) joining them on the sideline for Sunday's game in Dallas, Thiero was summoned from the G League to provide reinforcement. Even if he's included in the rotation Sunday, Thiero likely won't be in store for enough minutes to make a meaningful fantasy impact.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Out for Monday

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Ruled out for Friday

Thiero (knee) won't play Friday versus the Nets.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Out for Wednesday

Thiero (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

Thiero is not usually in the rotation for the Lakers, so his absence won't have many fantasy implications. He's made only four appearances since playing double-digit minutes against the Spurs on Feb. 10.

  • Lakers' Adou Thiero: Game-time call vs. Pacers

Thiero is questionable for Wednesday's game against Indiana due to left knee soreness.

It's unclear as to when this injury popped up for Thiero, who logged two minutes Monday night against Detroit. He's appeared in three games for the Lakers in March, so even if he is cleared to play, he's unlikely to be much of a factor.
