  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Nears double-double in win

Daniels chipped in 22 points (10-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's 113-110 victory over the Hornets. Daniels finished as Atlanta's third-leading scorer and was one of four Hawks players to reach the 20-point threshold. While he struggled from beyond the arc once again, the fourth-year guard knocked down a triple after shooting 0-for-11 from downtown in his previous eight appearances. He also led the team in rebounds and tied the game-high mark in steals, recording multiple swipes for the 14th time across 18 regular-season appearances.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Comes close to double-double

Daniels registered 14 points (6-15 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 win over New Orleans. Daniels recorded his best scoring output since Nov. 4, when he had 18 points in a win over the Magic. Scoring prowess aside, Daniels was also his usual self when it came to filling out the stat sheet. This was his fourth consecutive game with at least 10 rebounds and assists combined, and he also extended his streak of games with at least one steal this season to 17.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Balanced stat line Thursday

Daniels contributed eight points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and three steals across 31 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to the Spurs. Daniels didn't have his best scoring output in this nine-point loss, as Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jalen Johnson did that, but Daniels delivered solid numbers in other categories. As a defensive specialist, Daniels has enough talent to be a valuable fantasy option due to his ability to fill the stat sheet across all categories, even in games when his scoring output is limited.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Sniffs triple-double in win

Daniels supplied 11 points (5-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, 12 assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 124-122 victory over the Suns. Daniels' 12 assists were his second-best output of the season, and he allowed players like Jalen Johnson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Onyeka Okongwu to carry the scoring lead. Daniels made his presence felt on both ends of the court, as he also notched three steals and finished just three rebounds away from recording what would've been his first triple-double of the season.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Doesn't do much over 27 minutes

Daniels finished Thursday's 132-122 win over Utah with two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 27 minutes. Daniels spent a lot of energy chasing around Lauri Markkanen on defense, and he was scoreless through the first half of action without a single shot attempt. He didn't even get his first shot up until the six-minute mark of the third quarter, and he managed to record only one steal. Look for Daniels to bounce back with a more productive stat line Sunday against the Suns.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Season-high eight assists

Daniels posted seven points (2-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 109-97 loss to Toronto. Daniels contributed a season-high eight assists, continuing to ramp up his production in the wake of the knee injury to Trae Young. He had also scored 18 points in each of the three contests prior to Friday, an indication that he will indeed be more involved offensively. Through nine games, he is averaging 9.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals in 32.7 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Well-rounded outing in victory

Daniels finished with 18 points (8-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 127-112 win over the Magic. After failing to reach double figures in each of Atlanta's first five outings, Daniels delivered an extremely efficient performance, marking his third consecutive game with 18 points. The 22-year-old guard also led the Hawks in assists and has dished out six in three of his last four appearances. He will likely continue to see an increased role on offense with Trae Young (knee) sidelined. Additionally, Daniels has impressed on the defensive end thus far, recording multiple steals in all but one of his eight regular-season games.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Starting to heat up

Daniels logged 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and four steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 117-109 loss to the Cavaliers. Daniels racked up a season-high four swipes, putting him up to 33 career regular-season games with at least four steals. The swingman had scored in single digits in five consecutive games to open the season, but he's posted 18 points in back-to-back contests now. On the year, Daniels has averaged 9.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.6 steals in 32.0 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Well-rounded outing in win

Daniels racked up 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and three steals over 38 minutes during Friday's 128-108 win over the Pacers. Daniels delivered his best offensive performance of the season after scoring single-digit points in the team's first five regular-season games. With Trae Young (knee) sidelined, Daniels also stepped up as a distributor. The 22-year-old is a consistent producer on the defensive end and has racked up multiple steals in five of six regular-season games, and he could continue to see more opportunities on the offensive end if Young misses significant time.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Tallies four defensive stats

Daniels finished with seven points (3-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 win over Brooklyn. Daniels had arguably his best game of the season, despite shooting just 3-for-10 from the field. Production aside, perhaps the biggest takeaway was the fact that Trae Young suffered a knee injury, which could send him to the sideline for a period of time. The effect here could be that Daniels is tasked with doing a little more on the offensive end, boosting his potential for scoring and assists.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Tacks three steals in loss

Daniels only scored two points (1-8 FG) but added seven rebounds, three steals and two assists across 34 minutes in Monday's 128-123 loss to Chicago. Daniels hasn't eclipsed double digits in scoring to begin the season but has provided steady value on the defensive end, averaging 2.0 steals and 0.5 blocks. His efficiency from the field and the free-throw line is jarring (32.0 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from the free-throw line). In order for Daniels to be considered a top fantasy option that he was thought to be prior to the season, he has to improve in those areas.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Quiet in blowout defeat

Daniels totaled four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 138-118 loss to the Raptors. It was a relatively disappointing season debut for Daniels, who got into foul trouble with five infractions. The lopsided score also didn't help keep him on the floor, either. Daniels will likely end up settling in as a complementary scorer alongside Trae Young, Jalen Johnson and Kristaps Porzingis. However, Daniels still projects as an elite source of steals for fantasy managers.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Won't play Thursday

Daniels (rest) will not suit up for Thursday's preseason finale against the Rockets, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Daniels will sit out Atlanta's final exhibition game, but he'll be fine for Opening Night on October 22. It'll be interesting to see if he can replicate the 3.0 steals per game he averaged last season, and if he can, he'll have no trouble flirting with top-15 value.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Fills up box score

Daniels finished Tuesday's 120-95 Play-In Game loss to the Magic with seven points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in 35 minutes. Daniels wasn't able to record a steal after leading the league in that category during the regular season, but he was still a factor on the defensive side of the floor with two swats and a team-high 12 boards. The Hawks will need Daniels' defensive prowess in Friday's game to determine the eighth seed of the Eastern Conference, with Atlanta hosting the winner of Wednesday's Play-In Game between Chicago and Miami.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Could sit out against Orlando

Daniels is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Magic due to rest purposes. Daniels could sit out Sunday's regular-season finale due to Atlanta already being locked into the Play-In Tournament. If Daniels is downgraded to out, Vit Krejci, Terance Mann and Garrison Mathews are candidates to receive increased playing time.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Elite thievery again Thursday

Daniels racked up 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals over 28 minutes during Thursday's 133-109 win over the Nets. Daniels continued his breakout season, falling agonizingly short of his first triple-double. His three steals took him to 226 for the season, the most recorded by any player this century. Despite what has been a somewhat disappointing season for the Hawks, their future is bright. They have an intriguing young core featuring Trae Young, Onyeka Okongwu, Jalen Johnson, Zaccharie Risacher, and of course, Daniels.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Sets franchise steals mark

Daniels ended with 22 points (10-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and five steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 145-124 victory over Milwaukee. With five more steals Sunday, the third-year guard didn't just pad his NBA-leading total to 213 -- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sits a distant second with 124. Daniels also set a new Hawks franchise record in the category, breaking Mookie Blaylock's mark of 212 set in 1993-94 (and which Blaylock tied exactly in two of the next three seasons.) Daniels has recorded multiple pilfers in 11 straight games, a stretch in which he's averaging 14.3 points, 7.0 boards, 5.7 assists, 3.6 steals and 1.0 threes while shooting 50.4 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Comes close to triple-double

Daniels contributed 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists and four steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 121-114 loss to Houston. Daniels finished just two boards shy of a triple-double, and as has been the trend all season long, he also made his presence felt on the defensive end with his elite hands and instincts. This was Daniels' ninth consecutive game with multiple swipes, but he's doing more than just contributing defensively of late. Over that nine-game stretch, Daniels is averaging 14.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.7 steals per contest.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Active on both ends in win

Daniels had 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 124-115 victory over Golden State. Daniels recorded his first double-double since Feb. 24, but the impact he makes on both ends of the court goes beyond what he can do in that category. He's scored in double digits in all but one of his 15 games since the All-Star break and is averaging a robust line of 14.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists and an impressive 3.2 steals per game over that stretch. He's leading the league in steals by a wide margin and has recorded multiple swipes 14 times over that 15-game stretch.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Stuffs stat sheet in victory

Daniels contributed 22 points (10-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block over 28 minutes during Tuesday's 134-102 win over the Hornets. Daniels stuffed the stat sheet in the blowout win, recording his fourth outing on the season with at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. Additionally, the defensive-minded shooting guard notched two-plus steals for a sixth consecutive contest, marking his 49th game on the season with multiple swipes. Daniels delivered an extremely efficient performance against Charlotte, though over his last three outings entering Tuesday, he had shot only 35.1 percent from the field.
