The Wizards traded Hardy and two second-round picks to the Lakers in exchange for Deandre Ayton on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Hardy will get yet another fresh start, this time in Los Angeles. In 57 regular-season games, split between the Mavericks and Wizards in 2025-26, Hardy averaged 9.2 points and 1.0 assists in 15.8 minutes per contest.
