  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Shines with additional minutes

Huff ended Wednesday's 127-118 win over Charlotte with 20 points (7-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three blocks across 27 minutes. This was easily the best performance of the season for Huff, who is in his first season with Indiana. The sharpshooting big man received the most playing time he's seen all season and let it fly from deep while on the court. As Obi Toppin recovers from injury, outings like this one could lead to more opportunities going forward for Huff.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Returning to bench

Huff won't start against the Jazz on Tuesday. Huff got the start against the Warriors on Sunday since Pascal Siakam (rest) got a maintenance day. Huff responded by posting the first double-double of his career, tallying 12 points and 11 rebounds across 22 minutes. However, Siakam is back in the lineup Tuesday, so Huff will return to the bench.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Grabs first career double-double

Huff totaled 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 22 minutes during Sunday's 114-83 loss to the Warriors. Making his second start of the season while Pascal Siakam (rest) got a maintenance day, Huff recorded his first career double-double, with the 11 boards representing a new career high. The 28-year-old center has been a steady presence in the Pacers frontcourt rotation to begin the season, averaging 5.7 points, 3.4 boards, 1.9 blocks, 0.9 assists and 0.9 threes in just 15.2 minutes a game, and he's posted multiple blocks in four straight games.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Efficient output in loss Wednesday

Huff provided 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two blocks over 18 minutes during Wednesday's 112-103 loss to the Nets. Huff drained four of his nine three-pointers Wednesday and scored at a pace of nearly one point per minute despite coming off the bench. This 16-point output could easily end up being an outlier for Huff, however, as he had scored 25 points combined over his first seven appearances this season (one start). Fantasy managers shouldn't overreact after one game, and Huff is better suited to remain on waivers until he shows he can put up these numbers on a semi-consistent basis.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Bench role Wednesday

Huff will come off the bench during Wednesday's game against the Mavericks. After starting Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Huff will be in the second unit. The Virginia product is averaging 3.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from deep as a reserve this season.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Doesn't do much in spot start

Huff finished with five points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt) over 16 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 loss to Minnesota. With both Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) and Bennedict Mathurin (foot) unavailable for Sunday's game, the Pacers opted to go big and slid Pascal Siakam over to the three-spot with Huff and Isaiah Jackson starting in the frontcourt. However, Huff and Jackson combined to play 30 minutes, and neither was particularly impressive. Jackson finished with six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two turnovers and no other stats over 15 minutes.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Starting Sunday

Huff will start in Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports. With several players sidelined for Sunday's contest, Huff will get the starting nod for the injury-plagued Pacers. The big man has averaged 3.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 11.0 minutes per game over two appearances this season.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Only 12 minutes Thursday

Huff had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and two blocks over 12 minutes during Thursday's 141-135 double-overtime loss to the Thunder. Huff came off the bench and played just 12 minutes despite the fact that Isaiah Jackson played just eight minutes as the starter. The Pacers went with a mobile frontcourt in this one, with Obi Toppin logging a whopping 40 minutes. Both Huff and Jackson are trending in the wrong direction, although Huff is worth monitoring just in case this was an outlier.

  • Pacers' Jay Huff: Blocks three shots in preseason win

Huff produced eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 FT), three blocks, two rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes during Saturday's preseason win over Oklahoma City. Huff came off the bench behind Isaiah Jackson, but he logged 17 minutes compared to Jackson's 12. The starting center spot remains wide open following the trade of Myles Turner to the Bucks. While Jackson appears as though he could have the inside track at this point, Huff certainly offers more versatility on the offensive end. Both are worth considering as late-round flyers in standard leagues.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Sees floor in elimination game

Huff had one rebound, one assist and one block across six minutes during Saturday's 117-115 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Huff saw the floor in Saturday's elimination game loss after receiving two DNPs via a coach's decision in the club's last two outings. The big man appeared in two games during the first-round series, totaling eight points, three rebounds, three blocks and an assist across 18 minutes. Huff carved out a fairly inconsistent role off the bench in the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with averages of 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 0.6 assists across 11.7 minutes per contest in 64 regular-season games (two starts).

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Muted role continues in win

Huff provided no counting stats across two minutes during Friday's 120-106 Play-In Game victory over the Mavericks. Huff continues to play a very limited role for the Grizzlies despite the season-ending injury to Brandon Clarke. Outside of a 22-point performance in a blowout win over the Mavericks a week ago, Huff has barely touched the floor. He has appeared in 10 games over the past month, averaging 6.1 points in 10.1 minutes per game.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Fails to score in win

Huff accumulated zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) over six minutes during Saturday's 109-103 win over Detroit. Huff failed to score for the fifth straight game, two of which he failed to leave the bench. Despite a season-ending knee injury to Brandon Clarke, Huff has been unable to find a path to consistent minutes. In his past 12 games, Huff is averaging 6.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Excels after Jackson's exit

Huff contributed 15 points (6-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one block across 18 minutes during Tuesday's 140-103 win over the Jazz. Huff led a huge run in the third quarter after stepping in for Jaren Jackson. Huff posted 12 points, two rebounds and a block during the stanza and was a key factor in putting the game out of reach. He's buried on the depth chart, but the team's choice to use him immediately after Jackson's exit shows that he may have a leg up on Zach Edey in the rotation.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Not starting vs. Utah

Huff is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Jazz. Huff will return to his regular role off the bench due to the return of Zach Edey (ankle). Huff is averaging 7.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game when coming off the bench this season.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Scores 14 points in spot start

Huff logged 14 points (5-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt), three rebounds and two blocks over 25 minutes during Monday's 120-118 victory over the Suns. Huff made his second start of the season Monday due to the absences of Zach Edey (ankle) and Jaren Jackson (ankle). Huff made the most of the opportunity, but his fantasy upside will be tied to Edey's availability.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Probable for Wednesday

Huff (knee) is probable for Wednesday's matchup against the Spurs. Huff is dealing with left knee soreness, though he is expected to suit up Wednesday. The big man was held out of Monday's loss to the Rockets due to coach's decision. Over his last five outings, he has averaged 5.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes per contest. Huff will likely continue to receive little playing time unless injuries arise at the center position.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Good to go Monday

Huff (knee) is available for Monday's game against Houston. Huff will suit up after having been deemed probable for Monday's contest due to left knee soreness. The big man has seen inconsistent playing time of late, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 5.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes per contest.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Probable for Monday

Huff is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Rockets due to left-knee soreness. Huff's knee soreness seems to be a new ailment, but it likely won't be enough to keep him sidelined Monday. Huff has seen inconsistent minutes of late, and he seems to be trending toward a smaller role as the team gets healthy. He has averaged 5.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes over his last five appearances.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Boost in minutes

Huff provided 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and two steals across 28 minutes during Monday's 119-104 victory over the Mavericks. Huff is averaging 15.3 minutes per game this season off the bench. However, during Monday's win against the Mavericks, he saw an increased role, taking starter Zach Edey's spot in the second half. Huff continues to be a force from deep, going 3-for-6 from beyond the arc, where he's shooting an impressive 42.7 percent this season.

  • Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Limited in return Friday

Huff (ankle) recorded seven points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds in 13 minutes during Friday's 132-124 victory over the Pelicans. Huff returned from a four-game absence due to a left ankle sprain, playing a limited role off the bench. Despite a hot start to the season which prompted the Grizzlies to upgrade him from his two-way deal, Huff has struggled to carve out consistent playing time at center behind Zach Edey and Brandon Clarke. Huff's role could continue to be muted so long as Edey and Clarke are both healthy.
