Davon Reed: Waived Sunday
The Lakers waived Reed on Sunday, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
Reed was a casualty from the roster after the Lakers signed veterans Tristan Thompson and Shaquille Harrison prior to Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Jazz. After joining Los Angeles in a deadline deal with the Nuggets, Reed played in just eight games with the Lakers, averaging 3.4 minutes per contest.

Lakers' Davon Reed: Left off injury report
Reed (recently traded) isn't listed on the injury report for Monday's matchup against Portland.
Reed was acquired by the Lakers ahead of the trade deadline, but he wasn't available to make his debut Saturday against the Warriors. He's been left off the injury report ahead of Monday's contest, so it appears he'll suit up for the first time as a Laker, though it's unclear if he'll have a role in head coach Darvin Ham's rotation.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Headed to Lakers
Reed was traded by the Nuggets to the Lakers, along with three second-round picks, for Thomas Bryant on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Reed averaged 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds in 9.0 minutes across 35 games for the Nuggets this 2022-23. However, he doesn't project to have a significant role with the Lakers and was likely included in the trade in order for Denver to obtain a backup center. Reed will join his fourth team in five seasons.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Fails to score in spot start
Reed finished Wednesday's 131-126 overtime victory over Oklahoma City with zero points (0-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes.
Reed missed all seven of his shot attempts, failing to make the most of what was a nice opportunity. Michael Porter was out with a heel issue, allowing Reed to step into a larger role. However, it was Vlatko Cancar who stepped up, exploding for a season-high 20 points. Even if Porter misses additional time, it would appear as though Cancar could be the primary beneficiary.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Starting vs. OKC
Reed will start Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
With Michael Porter (heel) sidelined, Reed will make his first start of the 2022-23 season. In 12 appearances, Reed has averaged 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per contest.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Season-high 18 minutes in win
Reed racked up five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 18 minutes during Sunday's 98-97 win over the Mavericks.
Reed saw additional run for the injury-riddled Nuggets, chipping in across the board in what was a nail-biting victory. The Nuggets simply had to go a little deeper in their playbook here, allowing the likes of Reed to play some extra minutes. However, based on what we have seen thus far this season, there is little reason for fantasy managers to get too excited.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Plays three minutes in defeat
Reed (personal) accumulated no counting stats across three minutes during Sunday's 121-110 loss to the Lakers.
The Nuggets didn't reveal Reed's status leading up to Sunday's matchup, but he logged some minutes off the bench in the loss. While he isn't a significant part of Denver's rotation, he should be available moving forward after missing Friday's game against the Jazz for personal reasons.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Questionable Sunday
Reed (personal) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Lakers.
Reed sat out the Nuggets' most recent game due to personal reasons and remains questionable to play Sunday. Although Reed is not a large factor in the Nuggets' rotation, his absence could give a few extra minutes to Bruce Brown and Christian Braun.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Out Friday
Reed (personal) will not suit up for Friday's game against the Jazz, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.
Reed was initially questionable for the matchup and is confirmed to be out Friday. His timeline to return is unknown, but his next opportunity will come on Sunday against the Lakers. In his absence, Bruce Brown and Christian Braun are likely to receive some extra run.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Questionable Friday
Reed is questionable for Friday's game against the Jazz for personal reasons.
Reed has played in four of the Nuggets' five games, averaging 1.0 points in 7.3 minutes. His absence wouldn't affect the rotation much.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Minimal role in victory
Reed posted zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound in three minutes during Wednesday's 110-99 win over the Lakers.
Reed has yet to score over three points in four games this season. Reed's -8 box plus-minus in just three minutes makes it unlikely that he will be earning more playing time.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Set to return to Nuggets
Reed and the Nuggets agreed to terms Thursday on a two-year contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Nuggets brought in Reed on a two-way deal midway through the 2021-22 season, and he went on to post 4.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 48 appearances. Reed is unlikely to be much of a fantasy impact player in 2022-23, but he'll once again compete to carve out a consistent role off the bench.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Back in bench role
Reed isn't starting Monday's game against the 76ers.
Reed drew a start in his squad's previous game Saturday against the Raptors, but he'll return to his typical bench role with Aaron Gordon returning to play. Reed has been held to seven points or fewer in 10 of his last 11 games, though he's seen a noticeable uptick in minutes off the bench early in March.

Nuggets' Davon Reed: Moves back to bench
Reed will come off the bench for Thursday's game against the Warriors.
With Jeff Green rejoining the starting five after a one-game absence due to a personal matter, Reed will return to a bench role. He contributed seven points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal across 22 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Kings.
