  • Nemanja Bjelica: Signs with Crvena Zvezda

Bjelica signed a contract with Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday, Eurohoops.com reports.

Bjelica signed a two-year deal with Fenerbache but was let go after just one season. The veteran quickly found a new home and will look to bounce back from his injury-plagued 2022-23 campaign. Bjelica hasn't played in the NBA since winning a title with the Warriors in 2021-22.

  • Nemanja Bjelica: Returning to Turkey

Bjelica told the Warriors on Friday that he is leaving the NBA and will return to Turkey, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.

Bjelica played an important role as a reserve for the Warriors throughout the 2021-22 season, but it appears the 6-foot-9 forward will head to Europe instead of re-signing with the team on a vet minimum deal. Bjelica appeared in 71 games last season, averaging 6.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 16.1 minutes per contest.

  • Warriors' Nemanja Bjelica: Goes for 19-12-6 in win

Bjelica contributed 19 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and two blocks over 30 minutes during Sunday's 109-90 win over Sacramento.

With Otto Porter and Klay Thompson resting, Bjelica had a chance to see extended action off the bench. The veteran responded with easily his best game in several months, if not his best performance of the entire season. At this stage in his career, Bjelica doesn't have much utility in season-long leagues, but he's been a solid addition for a deep Warriors team.

Bjelica (illness) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.

Bjelica sat out Wednesday's loss to Boston due to a non-COVID illness, but he'll be back in action against San Antonio. He's averaged 4.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 20.6 minutes per game across his last five appearances.

  • Warriors' Nemanja Bjelica: Questionable Sunday

Bjelica (illness) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Spurs, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.

Bjelica participated in Friday's practice along with teammate Andrew Wiggins (illness), and the two remain questionable for Sunday's tilt with San Antonio. If Bjelica or Wiggins ultimately remain sidelined, Otto Porter could see additional run.

  • Warriors' Nemanja Bjelica: Won't play Wednesday

Bjelica (illness) won't play in Wednesday's game against Boston, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bjelica, along with Andrew Wiggins, are currently dealing with non-COVID illnesses and both will need to take a game off to rest. There's a good chance that Bjelica will be able to return to the lineup in the Warriors' next game, which is Sunday against the Spurs. In the meantime, Jonathan Kuminga could see extra minutes with Bjelica sidelined.
