Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Minimal impact in loss Thursday
DeRozan closed Thursday's 137-96 loss to Memphis with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-3 FT), two assists and one steal in 15 minutes.
DeRozan had his worst output of the season by a wide margin. The seven-point margin was the third time he failed to reach the 10-point mark in three of his last five outings over that stretch. DeRozan is a veteran who should be able to bounce back sooner rather than later, but as of late, he's not responding to the trust of fantasy managers. He's attempted 12 or fewer shots in four of his last five appearances.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Salvages night at free-throw line
DeRozan ended with 17 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, five assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 113-99 loss to the Thunder.
The 17 points led all Sacramento starters as the visitors had a tough time overall against the OKC defense. DeRozan's three steals were a season high, and his 1.3 steals through 15 games would be a career-best average if he can keep it up. The rest of the 36-year-old's game is showing signs of decline, however, as DeRozan is averaging 18.7 points, 3.6 assists, 3.3 boards and 0,9 threes in 34.0 minutes a contest.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Hits for team-high 27 in loss
DeRozan finished with 27 points (12-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 loss to the Spurs.
The 27 points led the Kings, as DeRozan snapped out of a brief scoring slump that had seen him manage only 10 points total over the prior two games on 4-for-16 shooting. The 36-year-old may be showing his age. Through 14 contests, DeRozan is averaging just 18.9 points -- which would be his lowest mark in a season since 2012-13 -- along with 3.5 assists, 3.3 boards, 1.1 steals and 0.9 threes.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Pours in 22 points
DeRozan closed with 22 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 144-117 loss to the Timberwolves.
DeRozan was a bright spot in an otherwise dreadful night for the Kings -- not a single starter eclipsed 30 minutes due to the lopsided score. The Kings are off to a shaky 3-7 start, and if things don't turn around soon, the rumor mill is likely to start churning.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Ties season high with 29 points
DeRozan finished Saturday's 135-133 win over the Bucks with 29 points (10-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 41 minutes.
Although his production outside the scoring department was relatively light, DeRozan matched a season high with 29 points. The star forward is now up to three 20-point performances so far this season, and he should remain a rock-solid fantasy player going forward. DeRozan has averaged 20.7 points, 4.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 37.2 minutes per game across his first six outings.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Supplies 21 points Sunday
DeRozan ended Sunday's 127-120 loss to the Lakers with 21 points (9-22 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 40 minutes.
After managing just seven points on 3-for-9 shooting in Friday's win over the Jazz, DeRozan bounced back to drop at least 20 points for the second time in three games to begin the season. The 36-year-old forward has averaged more than 20 points a game in 12 straight seasons dating back to 2013-14 with the Raptors, and there are few signs that streak will be in jeopardy in 2025-26. Through three contests, DeRozan is averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 boards, 1.7 steals and 1.0 threes.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Flirts with double-double in loss
DeRozan amassed 29 points (12-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-9 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 120-116 loss to Phoenix.
DeRozan was pestered constantly by Dillon Brooks during the loss, but the veteran was still able to find plenty of open spots. DeRozan and Zach LaVine were responsible for 59 of Sacramento's 116 points, and they will continue as the offensive engines while Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) is sidelined. Even when Sabonis returns, DeRozan and LaVine will still be prolific fantasy producers.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Not listed on report for Wednesday
DeRozan (groin) isn't listed on the Kings' injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
DeRozan missed Friday's preseason win over the Lakers due to a minor groin issue, though he'll suit up in the team's regular-season opener. The veteran forward appeared in 77 regular-season games in his first year with Sacramento, during which he averaged 22.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 35.9 minutes per contest.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Won't play Friday
DeRozan (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
DeRozan was considered probable due to a minor groin injury, so this is a bit surprising, even if it's just an exhibition. With Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Keegan Murray (thumb) already sidelined to begin the season, the Kings are being super cautious with their veteran forward.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Probable for Friday
DeRozan (groin) is probable for Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
DeRozan is dealing with a minor groin issue, but this isn't something that will impact his status for Opening Night. The 36-year-old veteran has been an Iron Man throughout his career, appearing in at least 74 regular-season appearances in four straight campaigns while playing at least 36 minutes a night each year.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Officially cleared
DeRozan (groin) will play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Clippers, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
DeRozan was previously considered probable for the contest due to right groin soreness. He's officially been given the green light to play in the exhibition. DeRozan logged 10 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound across 23 minutes in his most recent preseason game.

Kings' DeMar DeRozan: Probable for Wednesday
DeRozan is probable for Wednesday's preseason matchup with the Clippers due to right groin soreness, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
It sounds like the 36-year-old veteran will be available for Wednesday's exhibition, but we'll get official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. He's a reasonable mid-round target for draft day.
