  • Tigers' Jack Little: Claimed by Tigers

The Tigers claimed Little off waivers from the Pirates on Thursday. Little went from the Dodgers to the Pirates via waivers in August but never made an MLB appearance in Pittsburgh. The 27-year-old allowed two runs in three innings with the Dodgers in 2025 and held a 4.06 ERA and 53:22 K:BB over 62 frames at the Triple-A level.

  • Pirates' Jack Little: Placed on waivers

The Pirates placed Little on outright waivers Tuesday, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports. The Pirates claimed Little off waivers from the Dodgers in August, but he never made an appearance for Pittsburgh. He posted a 2.79 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 19.1 innings at Triple-A Indianapolis, however, which could be enough for another team to give the 27-year-old reliever a 40-man spot early in the offseason.

  • Pirates' Jack Little: Scooped up by Pittsburgh

The Pirates claimed Little off waivers from the Dodgers on Wednesday and assigned him to Triple-A Indianapolis. Pittsburgh had two open spots on its 40-man roster, and Little had three minor-league options left, so putting in a waiver claim for the 27-year-old reliever amounted to a low-risk move for the organization to burnish its bullpen depth. Little made two appearances at the big-league level for the Dodgers but had otherwise spent the entire season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, with whom he logged a 4.64 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB in 42.2 innings.

  • Dodgers' Jack Little: DFA'd by Dodgers

The Dodgers designated Little for assignment Monday. The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for first baseman Luken Baker, whom the Dodgers claimed off waivers from the Cardinals. Little has made two relief appearances at the big-league level this season, allowing two runs over three innings.

  • Dodgers' Jack Little: Bumped down to Triple-A

The Dodgers optioned Little to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday. The Dodgers sent Little back to the minors to clear room on the 26-man active roster for right-hander Emmet Sheehan, who was recalled from Oklahoma City to start Sunday against the Astros. Little has served as a middle-relief option over his two stints in the big leagues this season, making two appearances while giving up two earned runs over three innings.

  • Dodgers' Jack Little: Rejoins Dodgers

The Dodgers recalled Little from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday. Little gave up two runs in two innings during his lone MLB outing this year, but he owns a 3.60 ERA and 1.37 WHIP through 35 innings in the minors. He'll work in middle relief for Los Angeles and take the place of Noah Davis on the active roster.

  • Dodgers' Jack Little: Tosses two innings in MLB debut

Little allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out one batter over two innings in relief against the Padres on Thursday. Little had his contract selected from Triple-A ahead of the contest, and he finished off the game for the Dodgers by throwing 35 pitches (23 strikes) over two frames. Both runs the right-hander allowed came in the eighth inning, when San Diego racked up four hits against him. Little had a smoother ninth frame, as the only baserunner he allowed came on a hit-by-pitch. It's not yet clear what the Dodgers' plans are for Little moving forward, but he could return to the minors in short order if the team opts to bring up a fresher arm.
