Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Takes loss against Dodgers
Rotowire
Bibee (0-1) allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over four innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Bibee had to be pulled from his first start last Thursday against Seattle due to a shoulder issue, but the injury didn't prove to be serious, and the right-hander was able to take his normal turn in the rotation Tuesday. He didn't pitch poorly, but he also wasn't efficient, needing 74 pitches to get through four frames. Bibee kept Los Angeles out of the scoring column until there were two outs in his final frame, but an Andy Pages single produced a run and was ultimately responsible for the hurler ending up with the loss. Bibee said after the game that he didn't have any issues with his shoulder, per Mason Horodyski of News 5 Cleveland, so he should be fine to make his next start, which lines up to come at home against Kansas City.

Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Holds Tigers to one run in Game 2
Rotowire
Bibee yielded one run on five hits and three walks over 4.2 frames Wednesday, taking a no-decision in a win over the Tigers in Game 2 of the American League Wild Card Series. He struck out six.
Bibee had to pitch out of a jam right away, with the first two batters of the game reaching on a single and an error. He was up to the challenge, fanning the next three hitters. He permitted one run in the fourth on a Javier Baez RBI single and was spared from being charged with another when Zach McKinstry ran into an out on the bases. Bibee was unable to get through the fifth inning after issuing a two-out walk to put a second runner on, but the Guardians' bullpen then shut things down the rest of the way in a 6-1 win. The righty was trending in the right direction late in the regular season with a 1.30 ERA in September, and he kept it going in his first outing of the postseason.

Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Allows one run over seven frames
Rotowire
Bibee didn't factor in the decision Tuesday against the Twins despite giving up one run on five hits and no walks across seven innings. He struck out five.
The right-hander had little trouble dispatching Minnesota outside the fifth inning, which is when Ty France knotted the game 1-1 with a solo homer. Bibee threw 64 of 92 pitches for strikes, and the improved command was a welcome sight with it being the first time through six starts this year that he didn't walk a batter. The long ball continues to be a concern as he's already given up nine homers, but Bibee is trending up with just three runs allowed in his past two starts.
