Laureano went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Dodgers. Laureano contributed to the Padres' comeback effort with his fifth-inning homer off Tyler Glasnow. The outfielder has been steady for San Diego since coming over from Baltimore at the trade deadline, batting .339 with four homers and 12 RBI over 15 games with his new team. On the year, Laureano is at a strong .298/.364/.556 slash line with 19 long balls, 58 RBI, 56 runs scored and five stolen bases through 97 contests.

Laureano went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers. Laureano opened the scoring with a homer off Clayton Kershaw in the second inning. This was Laureano's second game in a row with a homer, and he's batting .327 (16-for-49) with seven extra-base hits and 11 RBI over 13 games in August. On the year, he's at 18 homers, 57 RBI, 55 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .295/.360/.545 slash line through 95 contests between the Padres and the Orioles.

  • Padres' Ramon Laureano: Continues to shine after trade

Laureano went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, three total runs and two total RBI in an 11-1 victory against the Giants on Wednesday. Laureano's homer in the rout was a two-run blast in the fifth inning that made the score 10-0. The veteran outfielder already has the second-most homers (17) and RBI (56) of his career through 94 games, and he could reach his respective career-best marks of 24 and 67 that he set with the A's in 2019. Laureano has been especially potent since joining San Diego at the trade deadline, slashing .333/.400/.600 with two home runs, 10 RBI, nine runs and a stolen base through 12 contests.

  • Padres' Ramon Laureano: Logs steal Tuesday

Laureano went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Giants. Laureano got some rest Monday after a stretch of going just 2-for-15 across four games. He bounced back with a multi-hit effort in his return to the lineup, which also included his first steal for the Padres. On the year, the veteran outfielder is 5-for-8 on steal attempts, though he's made up for a drop in speed by having a career year as a hitter. He's batting .290 with an .882 OPS, 16 home runs, 54 RBI, 51 runs scored, 19 doubles and two triples across 93 games between the Padres and Orioles. Laureano's production has been fairly steady between the two teams, so he should continue to see a near-everyday role.

  • Padres' Ramon Laureano: Drives in three in win

Laureano went 3-for-6 with a double, a triple, three RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 10-5 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks. Laureano came up a homer shy of the cycle in another strong performance as he continues to look comfortable as a Padre. He gave San Diego its first lead of the game with a two-run double in the seventh inning before adding an RBI single during a rally in the 11th. The outfielder has gone 8-for-22 (.364) with four extra-base hits and five RBI over five contests for San Diego. Overall, he's at a .295/.356/.544 slash line with 16 home runs, 51 RBI, 49 runs scored, four stolen bases, 18 doubles and two triples across 87 games between the Padres and the Orioles.

  • Padres' Ramon Laureano: Pads lead with homer

Laureano went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Cardinals. Laureano has gone 3-for-12 with two extra-base hits and two RBI over his first three games with the Padres after he was flipped from the Orioles at the deadline. He's taken over as San Diego's starting left fielder, bumping Gavin Sheets and Bryce Johnson into full-time reserve roles. Laureano is up to 16 homers, 48 RBI, 48 runs scored, four stolen bases and a .288/.351/.535 slash line through 302 plate appearances this year. His power could take a hit in San Diego, but he's made enough contact this year to remain a productive part of his new team's lineup.

  • Padres' Ramon Laureano: Sent to Padres

The Padres acquired Laureano and Ryan O'Hearn from the Orioles on Thursday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports. The Orioles received Boston Bateman, Brandon Butterworth, Victor Figueroa, Cobb Hightower, Tyson Neighbors and Tanner Smith in return. Laureano finished strong with Atlanta down the stretch of the 2024 season and carried that over into arguably the best season of his career in 2025, as he will bring a .290/.355/.529 batting line with 15 home runs to San Diego. Laureano will have to contend with Gavin Sheets and perhaps O'Hearn for at-bats in left field with the Padres, but he should be the favorite to see the lion's share of playing time at the position.

  • Orioles' Ramon Laureano: Homers again vs Guards

Laureano went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 4-3 win over the Guardians. He finished the four-game set against the Guardians with three home runs and seven RBI, bringing the 31-year-old's season total up to 14 and 43 respectively. With an .858 OPS on the year by virtue of a .277/.337/.521 slash line, the eight-year veteran is on pace for his best season since he had an .860 OPS in 2019.

Laureano crushed his 10th homer of the season en route to extending his hitting streak to a modest four games. The 30-year-old outfielder has become a significant contributor in the heart of Baltimore's lineup, and he should continue to play nearly an everyday role until Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) is activated from the injured list. Over his last 31 games, Laureano is slashing .308/.395/.561 with seven long balls, six doubles, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases covering 124 plate appearances.

Laureano went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Athletics. The outfielder went 0-for-3 with a walk and one RBI in Friday's game, but he put together a bigger performance Saturday as part of the Orioles' comeback win. Prior to his injury, Laureano was swinging a fairly hot bat, and he has a chance to operate as the starting right fielder as long as Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) remains out. Laureano is up to seven homers, 15 RBI, 14 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .275/.327/.549 slash line over 113 plate appearances this season.
