AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell19H agoBack and forth they go. The Padres re-take the lead in the sixth, scoring a couple runs on a Jake Cronenworth single and a Freddy Fermin squeeze. Something tells me this game isn't ending 7-6.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell20H agoRandy Arozarena hit a three-run bomb, and Dylan Cease's night is over one batter later. Cease retired the first 11 hitters he faced, but the Mariners have cut it to 5-3, and the Padres will go to Jason Adam in the bottom of the fifth.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell21H agoRamón Laureano, perhaps the best Deadline pickup by any team over the four weeks since, just launched a first-inning grand slam to put the Padres on top, 5-0. He's hitting .329/.380/.624 with six homers and 20 RBIs since he was acquired from the Orioles on July 31.
