Colt Hynes: Cut loose by Dodgers
The Dodgers released Hynes on Friday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Hynes, who logged 61.1 innings in the Dodgers organization last season between the Double-A and Triple-A levels, had re-signed with the team on a minor-league pact in November. The lefty's release as spring training gets underway suggests that he may be pursuing an opportunity elsewhere in affiliated ball or overseas, though no signing has been announced. Hynes last appeared in the majors in 2015 with the Blue Jays, pitching out of the bullpen for five games.

Dodgers' Colt Hynes: Reunites with Dodgers on minor league deal
Hynes agreed to a minor league contract with the Dodgers on Monday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
The 31-year-old spent time with three different organizations in 2016, although he found relatively little success at the higher levels of the minor leagues. Hynes does possess a bit of major league experience, but he seems to be lined up for little more than an organizational depth role during his second stint with the organization.

Athletics' Colt Hynes: Traded to Oakland
Hynes was traded to the A's on Wednesday in exchange for Coco Crisp, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
While the Indians add outfield depth, the A's get Hynes, a 31-year-old right-hander who's appeared in 27 career major league games. Hynes had spent time with the Blue Jays organization before signing a minor league deal with the Indians earlier this month. Hynes is unlikely to make an impact at the major league level anytime soon.

Hynes will go to Double-A Akron on Friday.
Hynes was signed to a minor league deal by the Indians on Thursday, and will head to Double-A Akron after getting roughed up with Triple-A Columbus on Thursday. The reliever gave up three hits including a home run during 1.1 innings of work, allowing two earned runs while striking out one in his outing with Columbus.

Hynes was signed to a minor league deal by the Indians on Thursday, Paul Hynes of Cleveland.com reports.
Hynes has been a part of the Blue Jays' organization for most of the 2016 season, posting a 3.41 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP over the course of 37 innings in the minors. He will be sent to Triple-A Columbus, but could work his way up to the Indians before the end of the season. Hynes spent some time at the major league level last season, and has pitched 20 innings in the big leagues during his 10-year professional career.

Blue Jays' Colt Hynes: Agrees to minor-league deal
Hynes agreed to a minor league deal with the Blue Jays on Friday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.
Hynes was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays back in September, but the two teams have now reached an agreement on a minor league contract. The 30-year-old has an 8.55 ERA in just 20 innings pitched over his six-year career. It is likely that he starts the season in Triple-A and will serve as organizational depth at the reliever position for Toronto.
