  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Plays hero in Game 3

Freeman went 2-for-7 with solo home run, two RBI, two walks and a stolen base in Monday's 6-5 victory in Game 3 of the World Series against the Blue Jays. Freeman came up clutch in the bottom of the fifth inning to tie the game at 4-4 on an RBI single to right field, though his biggest moment would come much later in the evening. Freeman stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 18th inning and cracked a solo home run to dead center, propelling the Dodgers to a 2-1 series lead. He's scuffled to a 3-for-13 start to the series but perhaps Monday's key blow will help him gain some juice at the dish heading into Tuesday's Game 4.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Delivers first blow of NLCS

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Monday's 2-1 win in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Brewers. Freeman got the Dodgers on the scoreboard by hitting a roof scraper of a solo home run during the top of the sixth inning off Chad Patrick. Freeman nearly hit his second long ball of the game in the top of the eighth, doubling off the wall in right field before ultimately being stranded. Freeman looked strong in plate appearances against righties Patrick and Trevor Megill on Monday and will draw another matchup against a right hander in Game 2 on Tuesday with Freddy Peralta scheduled to toe the rubber for Milwaukee.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Idle Friday

Freeman is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Mariners on Friday. Freeman, Mookie Betts, Tommy Edman and Max Muncy will all rest Friday after the Dodgers clinched the NL West with an 8-0 win over the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Dalton Rushing will draw the start at first base and bat seventh.

Freeman went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI during the Dodgers' 8-0 win over the Diamondbacks on Thursday. Freeman got Thursday's scoring started with a solo homer in the second before giving the Dodgers an 8-0 lead in the fourth with a two-run shot to right-center field. It was his second multi-homer game of the season, and he is now up to 23 long shots on the year, which surpasses his mark in 2024 by one. Freeman is slashing .293/.364/.496 with six steals, 80 runs, 23 homers and 88 RBI in 621 plate appearances this season.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Phillies in a 5-0 win Wednesday. Freeman kicked off the scoring in the contest with a solo blast to center field in the second inning. He finished with his third multi-hit effort over his past five games, a span in which he's batting .391 (9-for-23) with four RBI. Freeman is up to 21 home runs, 83 RBI and an .863 OPS through 138 games, posting nearly identical numbers to the 22 long balls, 89 RBI and .854 OPS he registered over 147 regular-season contests last year.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Three-hit effort Saturday

Freeman went 3-for-6 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 13-7 win over the Giants. Freeman has gone 11-for-48 (.229) over 11 games to begin September. This was his first multi-RBI game since he drove in three versus the Padres on Aug. 24. While the first baseman hasn't been at his best lately, he's avoided prolonged slumps -- he hasn't gone consecutive games without a hit since Aug. 13-15. Overall, Freeman still has a .293/.364/.494 slash line with 20 home runs, 38 doubles, 81 RBI, 72 runs scored and five stolen bases over 134 contests this season.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Rockies. Freeman reached the 20-homer mark with his eighth-inning blast Tuesday. He's had a modest start to September, going 7-for-32 (.219) over his first eight games this month, though four of those hits have gone for extra bases. The first baseman's still at a .295/.367/.500 slash line for the year while adding 79 RBI, 71 runs scored, 37 doubles, two triples and five stolen bases over 131 contests. Freeman has reached the 20-homer mark in every full-length season since 2016.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Goes deep in loss Friday

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Baltimore on Friday. Freeman was the only Dodger with multiple knocks on a day when the team's struggling offense managed just five hits in total. The All-Star first baseman also accounted for Los Angeles' only run with his solo blast in the sixth inning. Freeman hasn't been immune to the Dodgers' struggles, as he's batting just .225 over his past 40 at-bats. However, he's knocked three homers, driven in five runs and recorded a 5:3 BB:K over that span.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Back in lineup

Freeman (neck) will start at first base and bat third Friday against the Diamondbacks, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports. A stinger in Freeman's neck forced him onto the bench for Wednesday's contest, but after an additional day off for the team Thursday, he's ready to rejoin the starting nine. The veteran first baseman has been as good as ever this month, slashing .319/.379/.626 with seven homers, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases through 103 plate appearances since the start of August.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Sitting with stinger

Freeman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds due to a stinger, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. The veteran first baseman presumably suffered or aggravated the injury during Tuesday's contest, during which he went 1-for-4 with a double. Freeman is expected to rejoin the starting nine Friday versus the Diamondbacks following Thursday's team off day.

He's gone deep four times over his last eight games and now has 18 homers on the year. Freeman has added an impressive .302/.375/.501 slash line, 75 RBI, 66 runs scored, 32 doubles and four stolen bases over 118 contests as he continues to be one of the Dodgers' most consistent hitters.

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 9-5 win over Colorado. The All-Star first baseman extended his hitting streak to six games Thursday, and the homer was his 16th of the year. Freeman slumped a bit back in June and the early part of July, but he's found his groove at the plate over the past month or so. Across his last 33 games (143 plate appearances), Freeman is slashing .323/.399/.540 with six round trippers, nine doubles, 25 RBI and 19 runs scored.

With five homers and 15 RBI over his last 16 games, Freeman has been fairly productive lately, even amid some team-wide struggles for the Dodgers. The first baseman is at a .298/.369/.481 slash line with 15 homers, 69 RBI, 59 runs scored, 29 doubles, one triple and three stolen bases over 111 contests.

The first baseman has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, going 18-for-45 (.400) with four homers and 14 RBI in that span. Overall, he has a .305/.378/.491 slash line with 14 long balls, 66 RBI, 57 runs scored and two stolen bases across 105 games this season. He's continued to provide steady contact despite a 22.6 percent strikeout rate that is his highest since 2016.

Freeman is now at a 13 homers, 61 RBI, 55 runs scored, two stolen bases, 29 doubles and one triple while slashing .305/.375/.491 through 100 contests this season.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Remains red-hot Sunday

Freeman went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI in Sunday's 3-0 victory versus the Rays. Freeman extended his on-base streak to 19 contests, a span in which he's batting .315 (23-for-73) with two homers and 13 RBI. He's been even hotter across the Dodgers' past two series -- in six games against the Reds and Rays, he went 12-for-25 (.480 batting average) with eight runs batted in. Freeman seems to be past the uncharacteristic cold stretch that saw him bat just .163 over 12 contests from July 4 to July 20. He's pushed his batting average back to up .306, which is the second-highest mark among qualified hitters in the National League behind teammate Will Smith (.324).

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Continues to heat up with homer

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Friday's 5-0 win over the Rays. Freeman launched his 12th homer of the season, and he's now logged at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games. Although he underwent a dramatic cooldown at the dish in June and the first part of July following a sizzling start to the year, Freeman is finally getting back on track of late. Over his last 15 games (64 plate appearances), the All-Star first baseman is slashing .321/.406/.518 with two long balls, five doubles and 12 RBI.

Freeman went 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in a 5-4 win against the Reds on Tuesday. Freeman singled three times in the victory, and his clutch seventh-inning knock tied the score 4-4. It was the All-Star first baseman's first three-hit performance since June 28. Freeman ended the first half of the campaign in a 5-for-33 stretch at the plate, but he's bounced back a bit since the All-Star break, batting .293 over 11 contests. However, Freeman is stuck on 10 long balls for the season and hasn't gone deep since that June 28 three-hit game against Kansas City.

  • Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Plays hero Wednesday

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a run, a stolen base and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 win against Minnesota. Freeman capped a ninth-inning comeback with a two-out, two-run, walk-off single that just evaded the reach of a diving Harrison Bader. The knock was Freeman's second hit of the game, marking just his second multi-hit appearance over his past 15 contests. The All-Star first baseman is batting an uncharacteristically poor .204 during that stretch, though he's still at a .295 batting average on the campaign, the third-best figure among qualified National League hitters.
