AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell11D agoOnly one inning from Michael King. The Padres have Wandy Peralta on for the fifth, and Robert Suarez getting hot in the bullpen. How do they cover the rest of it? Idk. Randy Vásquez? But it won't matter much unless the offense comes to life. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell11D agoMichael King enters in the fourth for the bottom of the Cubs lineup, and he'll almost certainly cover more than one inning. Meanwhile, the Padres aren't going to win if they don't score. At present, that's the bigger issue.

AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell11D agoJeremiah Estrada keeps the Padres in it. He walked in a run, but after a strikeout and a double play, it's only 2-0, Cubs. With Darvish out of the game already, I don't see any path to 27 outs that doesn't involve Michael King, probably for multiple innings.
