Rockies reliever Tommy Kahnle recorded the first save of his career, as he closed out the 5-4 win over the Nationals on Friday. Kahnle struck out a pair, including Bryce Harper to end the game.

Kahnle picked up the save on his 26th birthday. He has been a very pleasant surprise for the Rockies this year. He has not allowed an earned run in each of his past nine appearances, and owns a 2.60 ERA over 27 2/3 innings in 2015.
