New Phillies closer Ken Giles pitched a perfect ninth inning to close out San Diego on Saturday. 

Giles earned his fifth save of the season and fifth in his last five apperances. He struck out two and protected a two-run lead. 

Giles had his seventh consecutive scoreless outing.
