Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado, who left Monday's game with a thumb injury, was held out of the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Cardinals. DJ LeMatieu will take over at third base during his absence. He batted .268 in 459 at-bats before the injury and is listed as day to day.
