Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto said Saturday that third baseman Luis Jimenez is likely out for the remainder of the season due to a labrum injury, the Orange County Register reports.
Jimenez went 5 for 10 over the last two days in the for the team's Rookie-level Arizona League team. He hit .297/.343/.422 with three home runs, 21 RBI and eight stolen bases in 128 at-bats with Triple-A Salt Lake.
