Athletics third baseman Josh Donaldson underwent an MRI on his injured knee Sunday, MLB.com reports.
Donaldson suffered the injury in his last at-bat of Saturday's game. He wanted to play Sunday, but the team wanted him to undergo precautionary testing. Donaldson has hit .249/.335/.458 with 25 home runs and 84 RBI in 478 at-bats.
