Athletics third baseman Josh Donaldson is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners, a day after leaving his team's 18-inning game against the Yankees with a hamstring injury.
Donaldson, who has hit .310/.377/.500 with nine home runs and 42 RBI in 252 at-bats this season, is just 1 for 17 in his last four games.
