Phillies reliever Jacob Diekman was knocked around on Sunday, but managed to escape with his second win of the season in a 10-9 victory over Colorado at Coors Field.
With a two-run advantage, Diekman served up a two-run home run to Justin Morneau in the seventh inning to tie the game. The Phillies rallied and scored two runs in the bottom of the eight to secure the win. He allowed two runs on two hits and no walks while striking out three over 1 1/3 innings pitched. He owns an 8.38 ERA over his first 9 2/3 innings of work this season.
