Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said pitcher David Hernandez could return to the team sometime during the upcoming homestand, reports The Arizona Republic.
Hernandez is on the disabled list with an elbow injury, but he was able to pitch a scoreless inning during a rehab assignment in Class A on Monday. The Diamondbacks begin their upcoming homestand Friday against the Cubs.
