Bryce Harper intends to play through hip issue

Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper will attempt to play through a hip issue with less than a month remaining, according to the Washington Times

With about 25 games to play, Harper expects to deal with the issue at the end of the year. "I’m going to play as hard as I can and just worry about it at the end," Harper said. Davey Johnson admitted he nearly took Harper out Monday, but decided against it. He plans to play Harper Tuesday.

Harper is hitting .278/.381/.514 in 352 at-bats.
