Coming off his best outing of the season, Braves starting pitcher Tim Hudson won't be able to take the ball Sunday against the Blue Jays as scheduled. His turn in the rotation will be skipped due to bone chips in his left ankle. Hudson told reporters Saturday that he's hoping to be back Wednesday (including David O'Brien on Twitter).

In Hudson's place Sunday will be top prospect Julio Teheran (O'Brien).

Teheran, 21, is 5-2 with a 3.15 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 43 strikeouts in 54 1/3 Triple-A innings this season. He worked 19 2/3 innings in the majors last season, compiling a 5.03 ERA and 1.48 WHIP.

Hudson, 36, is 4-2 with a 3.83 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in eight starts this season. Last time out, he threw a five-hit shutout against the Marlins.
