The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Yoenis Cespedes on the 15-day disabled list Saturday and recalled Michael Taylor from Triple-A Sacramento, MLB.com reports.
Cespedes has an injured hand but X-rays came back negative. Cespedes suffered the injury in the web of his left hand between his thumb and index finger.
Cespedes is batting .200 with three homers and seven RBI over his first 40 at-bats.
