It took nearly a week after Arodys Vizcaino was declared the new closer for the Braves for a save situation to crop up. It finally did in a one-run game Thursday against Miami and he was up to the task.

Vizcaino allowed a one-out single to Ichiro Suzuki, but retired Adeiny Hechavarria and Tomas Telis to close it out for his first career save. He has allowed just one run in 12 2/3 innings this season.
