  • Kyle Connor LW | WPG

Jets' Kyle Connor: Goal, assist in loss

Connor scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 6-4 loss to Tampa Bay.

He scored late in the third in a three-goal comeback that ultimately fell short. Connor had been in a dry spell leading into the game; he had just one goal in his previous five games. Every star goes through stretches of quieter production; Connor has scored at least 92 points in three of his last five seasons, including the last two. He'll find his path.

  • Ducks' Tristan Luneau: Lights lamp in loss

Luneau scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

Luneau has two goals and three helpers during his three-game point streak. The 22-year-old defenseman continues to regularly see top-four minutes as well as some power-play time as he sets on the path to being a full-time NHLer. He's earned seven points, 14 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 13 appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Roger McQueen: Scores first career goal

McQueen scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

The tally was the first goal and point of McQueen's NHL career., The 20-year-old has stayed in the lineup for eight straight games, but his ice time has fluctuated wildly during his time with the big club. He's currently without a power-play role, which will make it tough to sustain offense. McQueen has racked up 10 shots on net, 10 hits, six PIM and four blocked shots. He'll continue to have a chance to play while Ryan Poehling (knee) is sidelined for another month or more.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Pots power-play marker

Granlund scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

Granlund ended a five-game point drought with the tally. The skid came after a one-game absence due to an upper-body injury, which has seemingly derailed his promising start to the campaign. Granlund remains in a top-six role with power-play time, so he should get back to fairly steady production in the long run. He has three goals, six assists, 21 shots on net, nine blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 12 appearances this season, with five of his nine points coming with the man advantage.

  • Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Goal, assist in loss

Sennecke scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist, logged two hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

Sennecke has scored in three straight games. He's also racked up 14 PIM over his last five contests, taking at least one penalty in each game in that span. While it helps in most fantasy formats, Sennecke's undisciplined play could eventually land him in the doghouse. The winger has eight goals, four helpers, 31 shots on net, 16 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 13 appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Tallies twice on power play

Gauthier scored two power-play goals on 10 shots and added a pair of hits in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

Gauthier had gone nine contests without a goal, adding just three assists in that span. The 22-year-old had a 41-goal, 69-point effort over 76 regular-season games in 2025-26, but he's been a little slow out of the gate this year. He's now at four tallies, five assists, 48 shots, 11 hits, six PIM and a minus-6 rating through 12 contests to begin 2026-27.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: Left out to dry in loss

Husso stopped 24 of 31 shots in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.

Husso wasn't sharp against the Sabres' best players over the first two periods. The Ducks tried to make up for it with a comeback effort in the third, but it came up short. This poor showing dropped Husso to 1-3-0 on the season, and he's now allowed 17 goals on 118 shots, an .856 save percentage, across five games. Husso is seeing backup duties behind Lukas Dostal, though neither of the Ducks' goalies have had a lot of success recently. Expect Dostal to get the nod for Sunday's home game versus the Senators.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Trio of apples in loss

Scheifele potted three helpers Thursday in a 6-4 loss to the Lightning.

The points were Scheifele's first in five games. The 33-year-old is coming off his best season ever, recording 103 points (36 goals, 67 assists) on 175 shots. This season, Scheifele has 11 points, including nine assists, on 28 shots. The Jets haven't won in regulation in seven games (0-5-2). This game could be the start to turning the corner for Scheifele, even if the team is going to struggle the rest of the way.

  • Sam Carrick C | BUF

Sabres' Sam Carrick: Nabs helper in return

Carrick posted an assist and three hits in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Ducks.

Carrick returned from a four-game absence due to a middle-body injury. The 34-year-old forward saw a team-low 8:45 of ice time, though that's to be expected coming off an injury for a player that wasn't a lock to play prior to his absence. The helper was his first point of the season to go with one shot on net, 12 hits, four PIM and a minus-2 rating through five appearances. Given his likely part-time role, he's not a strong fantasy option.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Garners two assists

Dahlin logged two assists (one on the power play), fired four shots on net, added two hits and went plus-3 in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Ducks.

Dahlin has three helpers over his last three contests. The star defenseman is up to seven points (three on the power play) through 10 outings this season. He's added 32 shots on net, 18 hits, 15 blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-3 rating to showcase his multi-category upside in fantasy.
