Gabe Perreault RW | NYR
Rangers' Gabe Perreault: Goal, assist in win
Perreault scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Perreault picked up his first multi-point effort of the season with this performance. He's earned three goals, three assists, 10 shots on net, a plus-2 rating, four hits and four blocked shots over seven appearances. Perreault is playing on the first line and also sees power-play time, so he's in a good spot to continue racking up points as he continues to grow as a full-time NHLer.

Alexis Lafreniere LW | NYR
Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Earns two points in win
Lafreniere scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Lafreniere started a little slow this season, but he's turned things around with a four-game point streak. That span accounts for all of his offense so far (five goals, three assists). The 25-year-old winger has added 14 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-4 rating over seven appearances. Lafreniere's top-six and power-play roles look secure, putting him in a good position to try for a career year in his seventh NHL campaign.

Will Cuylle LW | NYR
Rangers' Will Cuylle: Two goals in Sunday's win
Cuylle scored twice on three shots and added four hits in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Cuylle earned his first two goals of the season in this contest. The 24-year-old winger is currently in a third-line role, though he could get moved into the top six the next time the Rangers shuffle their lines. He has five points, 18 shots on net, 26 hits, 13 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through seven appearances this season. More ice time would be better, but Cuylle's already providing well-rounded production.

Tye Kartye LW | NYR
Rangers' Tye Kartye: Scores twice Sunday
Kartye scored two goals on three shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Kartye has received second-line minutes at even strength early this season. His tallies Sunday were his first goals of the season, to go with two helpers over seven games. The 25-year-old is better known for his physical play -- he's racked up 17 hits so far this season. Kartye could be a target for fantasy managers in deep leagues if he remains on the second line, but his career high in points is 22, which came in 64 appearances between the Rangers and the Kraken last year.

Dylan Garand G | NYR
Rangers' Dylan Garand: Secures win over Canucks
Garand stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Garand did well in his first start since Igor Shesterkin (knee) was lost for the year. The quality of the opponent is certainly a factor -- this loss dropped the Canucks to 2-5-0 on the year. Garand will get at least a short-term chance to claim the No. 1 job for the Rangers, though his performance over the next month will go a long way in determining the pecking order in goal when Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) can play. Expect Garand between the pipes again for a much tougher test versus the Lightning on Tuesday.

Boone Jenner C | WAS
Capitals' Boone Jenner: Tallies again Sunday
Jenner scored a goal on five shots, added six hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.
Jenner has scored in consecutive contests. While he's playing in a fourth-line role, he's making decent all-around contributions. The 33-year-old forward has two goals, one assist, 16 shots on net, eight hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over five outings this season. If he can play around a 40-point pace, he'll have some upside as a depth option in fantasy.

Jordan Kyrou RW | WAS
Capitals' Jordan Kyrou: Gets first goal for new team
Kyrou scored a goal in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.
Kyrou's tenure with the Capitals has gotten off to a middling start. He's played on the third line, earning two points, five shots on net and a minus-6 rating over his first five contests. Kyrou may simply be a victim to the numbers game -- the Capitals' top nine is fairly strong, making competition for ice time tough. The winger had 46 points in 72 regular-season games last year, but he had logged at least 67 points in the previous four campaigns, so he's definitely capable of more offense.
-
Alex Ovechkin LW | WAS
Capitals' Alex Ovechkin: Opens account for final season
Ovechkin scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.
The goal was Ovechkin's first tally of his final season. The 41-year-old winger saw a season-high 16:56 of ice time -- his minutes had been managed early on since he missed the preseason slate due to a lower-body injury. He's at two points, eight shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-1 rating over five appearances. While nominally still on the top line, the depth of the Capitals' offense will likely lead to Ovechkin seeing less ice time than usual in 2026-27.
-
Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Yields five goals in loss
Thompson stopped 22 of 27 shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.
Thompson wasn't at his best in this game, and the Kraken were able to take advantage. This led to Thompson's first loss in four outings this season. He had given up a total of six goals on 85 shots over his first three starts. The 29-year-old netminder typically is one of the better goalies in the league, so this will amount to just an off performance. He'll likely split the next two games with Charlie Lindgren, as the Capitals visit the Hurricanes on Tuesday before hosting the Canadiens on Wednesday.

Ben Meyers C | SEA
Kraken's Ben Meyers: Records pair of helpers
Meyers notched two assists, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Capitals.
Meyers has posted consecutive multi-point efforts. He has a goal, four helpers, four shots on net, eight hits, four blocked shots, 17 PIM and a plus-4 rating over four appearances this season. He's been part of the Kraken's most effective iteration of the fourth line, working alongside Frederick Gaudreau and Ryan Winterton to give the team some valuable depth scoring.
